Hello everyone! I am back with book 2 and to save you and myself some trouble I have decided to publish book 2 right here under book 1. At first, I wanted to call the second book "My Brother's Keeper" and I wanted to make it a separate book from this one but it's literally just a continuation of Not My Brother so I decided to just post the new chapters under this story. This way you guys don't have to go search for it and go through unnecessary trouble to find it.

I said. "So today is the day where you publish your newest book and it's called The Real Deal. Can you tell us briefly what it is about?" The MC asked and I smiled nodding. "Well.. I don't want to spoil anything but it's based on my own love life. I wrote this book for my boyfriend, Ares, just to thank him for everything." I said and I turned to see Ares standing beside my dad. He smiled widely at me and I turned to the audience again nervously.

Although he can't leave here, like me, who knows what he gets up to in his spare time. "Not quite," he says, holding up the book so the cover faces me. On it, is the name Shinee in bright golden letters surrounded by dark tinted italic pattern swirling around like magic. It looks similar in configuration to mind. "It's a book, on your mate." I echo my thoughts, curious about getting my hands on it. "So, basically the same premise of mine? Isn't this like some kind privacy breach?" Damon shrugs his shoulders. As if he cares.

“Since you’re back, are you going to pick the next book?” I blinked. “Me?” “Of course,” she said, smiling. “You’ve been gone. You deserve the honor.” Everyone nodded expectantly. I looked down at the stack of books on the table, my fingers brushing across their covers. My hand paused on a novel about love, identity and societal expectations. This book will give them a glimpse of what I passed through during my absence. I smiled softly. “How about this one?” Brent groaned. “Oh no, not another depressing tragedy. Can’t we read something with a hopeful romance?”

Goose meowed from the couch, clearly in agreement. By the time we headed out, my stomach was a mess of butterflies and caffeine. Ace drove us to the little indie bookstore downtown, the same one where I used to browse the romance shelves and daydream about my name sitting next to authors I loved. Now, those same shelves held Meow Me Twice, right there, spine gleaming under the display lights. I froze when I saw it. “That’s me,” I whispered, half to Ace, half to the universe. He slipped his hand into mine, squeezing gently. “That’s you,” he said. “Told you it’d happen.”

Torture me, and the worse it is, the better. The moment we met again, we exchanged looks, and everything became clear.
