"No, no. I don't know anything. I did talk to Rory at school today but that was all. And since she started dating you, we have not been so close. She doesn’t come here often." There was something in the way he said it. Something bitter. But Todd couldn't tell if he was imagining it. "Can we come in and look around?" Todd asked. Jason hesitated. Just for a second. But Todd caught it. "Look, man, I get that you're worried." Jason said, scratching the back of his neck. "But I told you, she's not here. It's just me tonight. I’m having a quiet time to honor my mum’s soul."

David's parents sent them their regards saying Vegas we're not their scene, while Jason was there on his own. As we dated and talked, I got to know more about him, how Jason grew up in the system. He was always moving from one foster parent to another until one day he was on his own. Both men were very contrasting, yet very similar in taste which was me and I couldn't be happier. "What are you thinking kitten?" David hugged me from behind as I was watching our little munchkins rolling around the carpet with Andrew and Ethan, while Jason was sitting on the sofa busy with his phone.

I knew that he was already influenced by the kids' cartoons that he watched, which showed him Daddy, Mommy, children, and grandparents. Jason learned that a complete family must have both Dad and Mom. But he didn't know that real life and cartoons are two different worlds. I knew that he was young, and I didn't want him to have a sad upbringing. Even as my parents weren't rich, they understood each other, and I grew up in a peaceful home. I thought about giving love a chance to give Jason a Daddy so that he can be happy, but can I trust Joseph's proposal and give him a second chance? On the platter that he wouldn't change in the long run and dump me, like he did before.

Goodnight! "Is that your mom?" Jason asked, scooting closer to me. I nodded and handed him the phone so he could see. He smiled as he read the text. "Your mom is amazing. I'll probably have to warm up a frozen pizza or something when I get home." He complained. "Can't your mom cook?" I asked. He shook his head. "My mom died a few days after giving birth to me. I never knew her but Jodie says she was a terrible cook."

Jason slowly turned to look at Mrs Haward in complete shock. "Mum, why are you calling me that?" Jason inquired. "I am not your mother, so stop calling me that. The man you knew as your father is not your biological father. How dare you? Ungrateful child. Your stupid parents abandoned you to die. We took you in and gave you a home and a family. James and Mirenda treated you like family and today, just because you inherited what is not yours, you sent my son, a true Haward, to prison?" Mrs Haward yelled.

But at least it increased my determination to get Jason. I have known Jason since we were kids. His father used to be my mom's highschool lover but things didn't work out for them. Mr. Black met Melissa, Jason's mom and they got married instead. Few years later, he happened to run into my mom, his one time lover and best friend. As at that time, my mom just met my dad and they were still getting to know each other. Mr. Black already had Jason, I think he was about six years old then.

"Jason, I'm waiting for you to wake up. Dad said, we will go fishing when you wake up. Please wake up!" Jade swallowed and blinked her tears back. She turned around and hugged Tyler. Her heart was broken for her two boys. The two were inseparable and they have each others' back. "Mommy, mommy, Jason's finger moved!" Timothy cried happily. Tyler and Jade went near the hospital bed. "Jason, mommy and daddy are here. Open your eyes, you're safe now darling," Jade cooed. "Sweetheart, mommy, daddy, Tim and the twins missed you so much," Jade's voice trembled and held Jason's hand.

Sometimes, I can't believe that they're my own kids. Mom says I should start a blog or something to show the world how impressive they are while Grandma Nini insists that we send them to a school for special and smart children. I think they're both overreacting. "I'm home." I heard Jason's voice and i turned to face him watching him walk into the bathroom. "Dada!!" The twins squealed happily once they saw him and he carried them from the bathtub not caring that his shirt gets wet. "Sorry for coming back late babe, we had a shareholders meeting that lasted a while." Jason said as I followed him out of the bathroom.

I admitted, genuinely puzzled by his revelation. "You see, Mr. and Mrs. Lowell were well-known in virus analysis. At one point, my parents' company got infected, and it resulted in the deaths of five staff members. They tried various scientists to solve the issue, but none proved efficient until your parents took over. They identified the virus and even created a cure. My father wouldn't stop talking about the incident. He insisted that your parents kept him and my mom alive," Jason chuckled, his gaze drifting to his palm as if recalling a fond memory. "I'm sorry they died like that."

Jason stepped out of the car and Ava threw herself at him as he laughed, picking her up and tossing her in the air before catching her making her squeal and giggle. "Mwe too papa!" Little Jonathan eagerly got in Jason's arms as he put Ava down and tossed Jonathan in the air making him laugh uncontrollably. Jason picked Ava in his arms as well. In one arm he was carrying Ava and in the other, he was carrying Jon. "Angel," Jason beamed leaning down as April pecked his lips lovingly and pulled back. "Papa, Uncle Ethan, Evan, Aunt Susan, Aunt Julie, Uncle Leon, and baby Jane are coming tonight," Ava informed her father, hoping to be the first one to give him the news.
