The Unwanted Marriage

The Unwanted Marriage

I saw the remote on the center table, so I picked it up and pressed the power button to watch television. I wanted to have fun while waiting for him to arrive, but the thought that I would have fun watching television was the opposite because I was even more saddened by the movie I watched. We have the same situation with the girl in the movie that fell in love with the person who married her, but the man loves someone else. I couldn’t stop my tears from dripping and sobbing. *****

Mated To The Mafia Werewolves: The Alpha and Beta Wants me

Wincing, she kept her eyes tightly shut though an intense urge to open them surged within her; she didn't dare. As the light faded, Arabella slowly lowered her hand, only to find that the old woman had vanished. In her place stood a breathtakingly beautiful young woman. The transformation was nothing short of miraculous. The wrinkled skin smoothed out, and the grey hair transformed into flowing white locks cascading down her back in perfect waves. Her hunched back straightened, and the tattered clothing morphed into a stunning cream gown adorned with delicate silver flowers that shimmered in the dim light of the cavern.

SECRETLY PREGNANT FOR THE BILLIONAIRE DUKE

SECRETLY PREGNANT FOR THE BILLIONAIRE DUKE

“Okay, okay, if that will make you happy, I'll do just that.” “What?!” I gasped in shock watching Lady Diana. She turned towards me and made an irritated expression. “Well, you have always been unfortunate. We'll get rid of the child, but that doesn't stop you from getting married to Klaus, so get yourself prepared this evening.” My Stepmom and her daughter both left my room after saying this. I can't believe this, they are going to get rid of a child like it's trash, my child? I looked around me, I can't stay here. I need to escape from the mansion before evening comes.

The Heartbreak Prescription

The Heartbreak Prescription

Stanley woke up. Wendy lit the candles on the cake. The flickering glow illuminated her reflection in the nearby mirror—a plain housewife in a dull black-and-white dress, devoid of charm or excitement. Meanwhile, Jessica, now a successful ballerina, was young, vibrant, and beautiful. Wendy was an ugly duckling, while Jessica was the white swan. After waking up, Stanley abandoned the ugly duckling and returned to the white swan's side. Wendy let out a bitter laugh.

This story is so DRAGGED OUT atp. I love the initial story & I guess that’s why I’m so annoyed. I still read it, constantly looking for closure but it’s always something new! Ugh. I just want to know what finally happens with Wendy and Stanley. Jesus Christ. I may just stop reading. Waste of $$$ atp

I promise you it will be worth it. And for those of you wondering about Lucas... well, guess what? He will get his own story too. Here’s a little hint, it involves an age gap, and maybe even a little sugar-daddy energy?? But kidding aside, I can’t wait for you to see the man he becomes. So once again, thank you so much for reading The Unwanted Wife. Thank you for crying, hoping, and growing with my characters. Thank you for believing in Lara’s journey, for hating Lucas when he deserved it, and for softening when he finally broke.

The Not So Regular Cinderella Love Story

The Not So Regular Cinderella Love Story

Aling Feli encouraged, gently guiding me to the full-length mirror. I hesitated, taking tiny steps, feeling like a penguin learning to waddle gracefully. Slowly, I tilted my head up and stared. My reflection froze me in place. Was that me? Honestly, it felt like someone had swapped my body with a magazine model’s overnight. Elegant, confident… scary. And here I was in a gown that seemed to belong on a runway, not at my awkward, coffee-stained, I-can’t-even-walk-in-heels kind of life.

Cinderella and Her Three Knights

The fire wasn't gone; it had just turned into a cold, blue flame. "I’ll go back," I repeated, standing up and brushing the dust from my worn leggings. "But not as the girl who ran away. And certainly not as the 'prize' Adrian thinks he’s won." Isadora straightened her posture, the professional Blackwood returning to the surface. "Whatever you need, Ella. Money, security, a new identity—" "No," I cut her off. I walked over to the glass table, leaning my hands on the surface until my knuckles turned white. "We do this my way. Or I disappear right now, and you can tell Lucian I was a hallucination."

The Unwanted Bride

She just knew it. Being with Shane wasn't all bad. She was happy at times. He manipulated her naïve little teenage brain just enough so she wouldn't run straight to her father. He promised her something good, followed by everything bad. And like an idiot, she ate out of his palm. She was his pet, and he never let her forget it. She stood in front of 1405 and had the strongest urge to turn around and run away but instead knocked on the door. The door opened immediately, and there stood Shane, wearing nothing but a robe. He gave her his devilish smirk that used to make her heart flutter, but now...

Hey guys, it's the author again. Just wanted to remind you guys that this is the book three of my bad boy series. This book can be read as a standalone but if you are curious about the history read The Bad Boy's Problem (book 1) and The Debt Collector (Book 2). They are available here & completed :)

VERY VERY VERY GOOOD! Thankfully I read the Debt Collector first by accident. This was a very good sequel. I agree with another post that said that Shane got off to easily. I envisioned him getting tortured by Alex for years. Loved Suri in her book and I loved Serena in this one. Noah was great too.

Tragedy of the African Cinderella (BlackBook 3)

She twisted her lip and snapped her head away from the pity-filled sight of the pair of eyes. She could read the girls' face despite the night as it wasn't a new book to her; it was a book which had had all her ordeal written. A book that had sold more in her residential area than Julius Caesar had sold in the part of the country she was in. The youngsters had crowned her with all sorts of names; from Watergirl to filthy to ugly to maid to Cinderella without a prince. All of which made her wonder if they could even remember her birth name. Finally, the tap was crowd-free. Nora rushed to deposit her twenty-liter jug beneath the recently vacant flowing tap after which she turned to its former

And that is to make Zaine marry me. He will get hurt for sure. I don't know the reason behind this agenda of tita, but one thing is for sure, she has deep reasons on it. She will never do this just for the sake of her business. There's something on Mrs. Madrigal that made her that. The way she speaks and act, were different from other sophisticated woman that I've met. Everything she does seems to be being manipulated. Is she the reason why Cheska left? I bet not...

Reading 'The Ugly Stepsister' was a refreshing twist on the classic Cinderella story. Instead of painting the stepsisters as one-dimensional villains, this version dives deep into their backstories and motivations. The main character, one of the so-called ugly stepsisters, is actually a complex figure struggling with societal expectations and personal insecurities. The story flips the script by showing her journey of self-discovery, where she realizes beauty isn’t just about looks but also about inner strength and authenticity. The traditional fairy tale elements are still there—the ball, the prince, the glass slipper—but they’re used in ways that challenge the original narrative. The prince isn’t just a prize to be won; he’s a character with his own flaws and growth arc. The stepsister’s relationship with Cinderella is also more nuanced, shifting from rivalry to something more layered and human. The book’s strength lies in how it reimagines familiar tropes, making the reader question who the real hero of the story should be.

What stands out is the way the story critiques the idea of happily-ever-after. The stepsister’s happy ending doesn’t come from marrying a prince but from finding her own path and embracing her imperfections. The author also plays with the idea of perception, showing how the ‘ugly’ label is often a societal construct rather than a truth. The stepsister’s transformation isn’t about becoming beautiful in the conventional sense but about reclaiming her identity. The book’s clever use of irony and subversion makes it a standout in the retelling genre, offering a fresh perspective on a story we thought we knew.
