" Everest grinned more for the praise. Jasper walked confidently to Eva's room to fulfill his peak mating season. The desire has risen, and he can't wait to spend the whole night with Eva in bed. Jasper walked into the room with a light grin of happiness. He went to the main bedroom with flowers and chocolate. But when he opened the door, Jasper was frowning. The room was a bit chilly and windy. "Baby? Eva?" Jasper strolled in with small, calm steps. When he walked inside, the frown became louder.

Jasper makes his way around his desk and bows his head slightly, and then growls low, "Why do you smell like my mate??" Frozen in my position I watched as Jasper collapsed to his knees, looking completely drained of energy and my heart thumped wildly in my chest. Dark held a dagger over Jasper’s spent body, ready to thrust the silver blade into his chest when a scream bubbles from my chest.
