She narrated a lie as she skipped the part that her husband wasn't a human. Well, five years ago, Jennet was only twenty years old when she first came to Country D. Before she came to the country, she met a wealthy family that boarded the same cruise ship as her on the day of her escape from home. The wealthy couple knew who she was and luckily they didn't probe her for further answers because she told them that she was on a solo quest to learn about the commoners' life and to do that she had to hide her identity. It was all an excuse that she made up to avoid further questioning from them.

“I've heard so much about you in the last days. Never thought you would look this good.” “Ah… Thank you.” Jennifer said with a smile. “Christian Spector. Jerald's friend. Only friend actually.” Jennifer looked at his hand. She then looked at Jerald who seemed unbothered. “Jennifer…” She took a moment then finally said it; “Carter.” They shook hands. “Jennifer Carter.” She finally says. “That is one… low budget ring.” Chris said and Jennifer laughed. Jerald stood there silently, he read her body language and noticed she's going out.

Twelve Months Ago Dr. Carter Richards pushed his thick-rimmed glasses higher up on his nose as he studied the chart in his hands. Carter was a short, older man, possibly in his early fifties. His dark green eyes were hidden beneath bushy eyebrows, he had a long, hooked nose, and a slight weight problem that caused him to break out in sweat at the most unfortunate of times. He had never been much of a looker, but the government hadn't wanted him for his appearance, but instead for the brain and intelligence he possessed.

“That’s Lena. She doesn’t expect anything but Damian, you can’t let it pass like any other day. You’re her husband now.” I leaned back, fingers drumming against the desk. “She doesn’t like big gestures.” “Then don’t make it big,” Carter said simply. “Make it thoughtful, show her you see her.” I stayed silent but my mind was already moving. Danna curved her lips and said, "Carolyn is about to graduate from college, right?" Carolyn was asked a question and nodded, "Yes." Danna laughed and said, "She's already twenty-two or twenty-three, not a child anymore. Carsen, by taking care of her like this, you're kind of acting like a parent taking care of a little kid."
