Jess placed her arms between her and Joshua for distant, but at the end it didn’t help at all. “Ya, show us cupcake. I want to see your tricks.” Joshua said, his eyes the same gold as Matthews. Tears fell from Jess’s eyes, she tried to push him away, but it was no use. Joshua threw Jess over his shoulder and carried her to the bed. He threw her down and she had barely time to catch up with what was going on before grabbed both her wristed and pinning them down. He placed his legs on either side of her hips.

Jasper said calmly "You don't understand he's the one I want, he's the type of man I need, he's the perfect man for me and I love him, all you have to do is to get rid of that girl so I can be with him. Why can't you do this for your sister" Jessica sobbed "He's not the man for you jessie, he's already taken and I can't do what you're asking for" Jasper tried to reason with her "I should have known asking you for help would be useless, I'll get my man by myself without your help, I'll get rid of that bitch" Jessica said and walked out.

Soon, Fannie brought a cup of hot milk and said, "Mrs. Maddox, Mr. Maddox was afraid you would not sleep well, so he asked me to heat up milk for you." Jessica forced a smile, picked up the cup, and drank the milk. After drinking, he wrapped his arms around her shoulder and lay on the bed together with her. "I'm not going downstairs. I'll sleep here today," he said. "You're not busy?" She didn't retort. "No." He put aside his work to keep her company. Jessica was haunted by the weird things she had just experienced and the lingering suspicion, so she subconsciously turned her back to him.

Giving the glass, she climbed onto his lap, her fingers traced teasing patterns on his bare chest while his hands roaming on her body with eyes full of lust. Her phone blipped and took her attention away. "Guess who's working tonight?" said Jess, playing her phone and wiggling her brows. She took Autumn by her arm and led us into the cafe by the alley. I glanced at the alley one more time and nodded to myself as I made up my mind. I hated to keep things from my friends but I had to do whatever it took to protect them. Even if that required me to play nice and squeeze the information out of the charming, dangerously good-looking Hunter Jones.

“We earned it. Anyone convince Jess?” Mac grinned. “Already asked. She said no.” “Come on,” Voro called. “Jess, live a little.
