You look like a confused rainbow, and could pass as a clown, how on earth do you come up with such ridiculous colour combination, and that jacket…are you still in your 80’s.” Jimmy scratched his head but then shrugged, walking in with his usual nonchalance.

Sunny was ready to dance the night away and show off her killer costume. Sunny’s brother James did not wear a costume, but he did put on a skeleton T-shirt. Despite not having an elaborate costume like Sunny, James was excited to join the festivities and enjoy the night. It was the easiest costume I could gather given the time I had to prepare. White dress, soft feathers, a halo and a golden mask. I stepped in through the massive doors. Skeletons. Witches. Vampires. Demons. Darth Vader, hell there was even someone dressed as Voldemort too. As I stared around for any kind of familiar face, a guy dressed as a giant banana walked past me handing me a red plastic cup.

"I still feel a little, obsolete, I guess, not wearing anything on a day like Halloween," I say, seeing as how many of the other teens in school are a little more special looking with colors they don't usually have placed into their attire. That's just the tame side of things, while other teens have gone all-out with the constumes. There's a T-rex and a fariy queen chatting and walking by, and in one of the doorways I can spot a teen in a bee costume. There's even a teacher who has a crazy-scientist wig on, who is merrily talking and holding up a pumpking for another faculty member, dressed in the star and moon robe of a wizard.

I hope this will make Liam happy. Liam and Amy were waiting, both now in their costumes, and their enthusiastic smiles greeted me. Liam’s attire resembled mine, albeit with shorter pants.
