The Day I Disappeared

The Day I Disappeared

"Wanda, I'll find you. I swear I will. I'll get down on my knees and beg for your forgiveness if that's what it takes." Hundreds of messages, one after another, packed into the screen like a digital breakdown. Edgar had completely lost it. I uninstalled WhatsApp without a second thought. Out of sight, out of mind. I had truly believed Edgar would never find me again. But one day, as I returned home from teaching, the last person I ever wanted to see was standing at my door.

However, I watched a Stephanie’s whole-body tense as she looked down at the pictures sent, curious I walked over seeing they were of a horrific car accident, I caught the sand timer out of the corner of my eye. I enjoyed the story but needs some grammar polishing. It doesn’t distract from the story to much but does get a little tiresome. It was nice to have a FL that wasn’t depicted as a total moron. Overall, I would recommend and will definitely be waiting eagerly for book 2.

Great storyline, but the ending is a cliffhanger with a promise of a second book (continuation). Unfortunately, the second book is not yet available so we have to wait to see what happens to Stephanie.

But you’re wrong. Dead wrong.” Jack’s impassive face finally shifted, his brows knitting together as his gaze locked on the paper. “What is that?” he asked, his tone edged with caution. I didn’t know what Stephanie’s plan was—or whether I could even trust her—but I waited, bracing myself.
