The gangster and the pianist
LOSSES AND DAMAGES
Gringo did show up, as Túlio had heard, but he didn't look for him. The loss of Milla was still an open wound in his heart. Gringo had come to the hill house to suffer alone and in peace, but when he saw Túlio's car there, he gave up on entering and left. He didn't know who to blame and blamed everyone at the same time. He just didn't blame Ant, knowing she was the target and the man had made a mistake and killed Milla, his best friend and companion. He loved her. He felt a great affection for her and they were partners. They made love, went for walks together, understood each other, and Milla never demanded that he stop loving Ant too. She understood him.
