When she saw the wound on Little Karen's forehead, she was heartbroken, "Little Karen, how did you hurt yourself?" "There were some big bad guys that caught me. Brother Lionel beat the bad guys away already." As she spoke, she looked at Brother Lionel lovingly. "So this must be Brother Lionel?" Papa Kyle asked Karen Joy and looked at Lionel at the same time. Lionel definitely left quite an impression on Kevin Kyle's parents. "Well, yes..." Karen Joy nodded. "Grandpa, he is my brother Lionel. He will protect me from all the bad guys." Papa Kyle was wise. He could tell if Brother Lionel was a genuine person who really cared for his Little Karen or not.

"One of them actually landed a blow on me, which I've not let happen since." Cedric cut in. "Hold on, what Scotsmen? I've never heard of this." Jonathan smacked his knee and chuckled. "That's probably because they beat my brother to a pulp and their tempers make him look like a bloody angel. What were their names again, Godric?" Jonathan shot a devious grin at his brother. "Brock, Brodie and Aiden Kincade. Barbarians, the lot of them. I heard their father passed away last year. Left them a castle somewhere up in the Highlands."

This gave everyone some breathing room. Zion was thoroughly excited about spending the weekend with his cousins. All of our family trees were interwoven. All of us – Nightshade, Dark Moon, Shadow Falls, and Precoza coven were all family. All of the children were essentially cousins because their parents were as close as brothers and sisters to each other. That was how we all came to be known as each other’s kids’ aunts and uncles. Watching them play tag was hilarious. Zion could cast, the triplets, and the twins could pop. Then you had Angel and Remo who always buddied up and could materialize just as quickly and efficiently.

“Dona, it’s really you?” “Yes Father,” I stepped back. “Mum called.” Knight stumbled forward and grabbed my hand, he reeked of whiskey and olive, that made my pulse spike and quicken my heartbeat. “I get hard when I think of you.” he slurred against my neck. “Every fucking night, it’s torture that I don’t get to make you moan my name.” These brothers aren’t normal. First, it was Reign, and now it's Knight. I twisted my hand. “You’re talking nonsense, Father. Let me go.”

He was the 17 year old son of the Knights leader, David. To say Decon and the rest of us had bad blood between us was an understatement. Decon went to the same school as Jaden and Zeke and was even in their class. His older brother, Len was a thorn in my side all through school and Decon was the same way to my two younger brothers. We all fought all the time but we couldn't kill them without starting a war. Jaden and I had no problem starting a war but Dad said that it was bad for business so we had to be content with a brawl here and there. If they were after my baby siblings, I wouldn't care about business and Dad would have to deal with it.

"Does your family own this place?" When Jonathan remembered how great Harry and Giselle's current relationship was, he felt upset. The Stones and the Lawsons weren't that close, and among the six brothers in the Stone family, Jonathan talked to the eldest sibling, Jackie, the most. Jackie and Jonathan were rivals in the business world, and they were capable in their own ways. As for the other Stone brothers, Jonathan rarely ever contacted them, nor did he have a reason to do so. They were just acquaintances and had to keep up the formalities between each other.

The thought of her made me stand a little straighter. To his right sat Knox, my oldest brother. The responsible one. The heir. His face already showed the same stress lines as our father's, though he was only twenty-eight. He glanced up, giving me a warning look that clearly said ‘Behave yourself.’ And then there was Kolt. My middle brother lounged in his chair opposite Knox, crystal tumbler of whiskey in hand, smirking like he knew a secret no one else did. Something about him had always set my teeth on edge, even before we were rivals. The Kingston green eyes we shared seemed colder in his face.

he explained and I nodded with a smile. “Alright then, go ahead…” I said, leaning against the headboard for support. “Well you know my name, so I’ll just skip that part. I’m Jonathan’s only brother and only sibling. Life happened and we had to go our separate ways for a while so I’m not surprised he never told you about me..” he explained. “Sibling drama, I’m sure the distance was much needed..” I blurted and he shrugged. “Anyways, tell me.. how does it feel to be kidnapped?”

Jonathan was the youngest son of the Thorn family. Samuel Thorn had two sons and one daughter. Jonathan happened to be the youngest of the bunch. Rumors had it that he was a notorious playboy who did whatever he wanted. Some years ago, he kept causing trouble for the Thorns. Things only improved slightly over the past two years. Some time ago, when Stephanie had chit-chatted with Bernadette, she heard the latter bring up the Thorns. Apparently, the two older siblings were very successful and accomplished. Alas, Jonathan was the rotten apple in the basket.
