It sat there like a quiet, final judgment. Jordan shuffled forward and reached out to grab the ring. His hands were shaking. “How did this happen… “How could Eve leave me…” Whipping out his phone, Jordan dialed my number. The call wouldn’t go through. His second attempt didn’t even connect. Third time wasn’t the charm. The voice of a cold, automated operation came on.

His eyes were bloodshot with anger “Weaker than her? I’m alive and she’s dead. That’s the difference between us. Alright, I don’t want to waste any time falling to you anymore. You... Hey? What are you doing?” Jordan’s smile began to fade. He watched as Joshua took off the ring on his finger and threw it to the side. Upon impact, it smashed a hole through the ground! The loud impact echoed dully. Joshua took off the other ring on his finger. Similarly, another hole was formed in the ground. Once again, the impact was very much audible. It was a dull ringing sounds.
