He released the clerk and turned to leave—just as a swarm of police officers burst through the doors. They arrested him for property damage and public disturbance, but Nick didn’t resist. He followed them quietly to the station, his expression blank. On the way, he sent his assistant a message containing Lily’s new information and ordered him to find out where she’d gone.

He mocked once he was standing beside Jenna in the bar. “What are you doing here?” Jenna asked, her focus was on the glass of beer in front of her. “I miss you and your pussy and moreover, my wolf keeps pushing me towards you.” Nick replied. “Please stop looking for me and ignore your wolf. Wonnell is becoming suspicious of me and I hate that.” Jenna replied, taking a sip from her glass of beer. “If worse comes to worse, we will inform them of our mate bond. It's not our fault that the moon goddess chose us to be mates.” Nick shrugged.

I knew Victoria wouldn't do it willingly, so I had to find another way to make her return to me. From the beginning, I suspected that Jared was hiding something big. So I found out more about him. It was challenging. I kept hitting a dead end, as if all the information about Jared Waltz stopped at the companies he ran. Until I met Natalie, I never thought she would be on my side. Nadine why did you follow me?” Nick asked, bewildered, as the fight went out of him. “I thought you were someone else.” Nadine said uneasily as she went to pick up her gun. Madam Yvonne's medal must have malfunctioned. But the medal was still heating up her skin. Then, it all dawned on her. Nick not having any leads on Dave's disappearance and the way he warned her to stay off the case.

“Yes, your grace. There are two. One is a man named Valerian Willers while the other one is Nick Hudson, Valerian’s righthand man.” I burst into tears. They both came for me. I was sure of it. They could have just let me be. What was Nick thinking? He had a girlfriend waiting for him outside the country. How could he go this far for me? And Val, I was not even sure how to look at him in the eye now. They chose to put themselves in danger just to see me again. “What about the Alpha King? What is his opinion regarding this matter?” “I have yet to hear it, your grace. When the warriors received the Council’s order, his grace was in his office and was meeting with a Mage.”

When they arrived, Hilton hurriedly got out of the car and whispered. “The person dancing with my wife has a death wish.” However, when he walked into the club, Wendy had returned to her seat. Hilton was so angry that he didn't get to see the strange man. “Wendy, let's go home.” Hilton spoke deeply as he saw her. “What?! How did you find me?” Wendy expressed her shock. Hilton tightened his face, “Don't question me, obey!” Priscy said to Wendy with a low tone. “Who is this man?”
