We’ll take you to London, to the very best doctors…” Julian offered a weak smile, one filled with profound peace and release. He reached out, taking Liora’s hand and placing it together with Mavric’s directly over his bleeding wound. “Liora… look after him. You are… the only real thing… he has ever truly had. Destroy… Project Scorpion. Do not let… your blood… become a prison for the rest of the world…” Suddenly, Julian’s hand went limp. He was down on his knees beside Leo’s cradle, his cracking data-pad held in trembling hands while he frantically swiped through lines of raw biological code. His face was completely drained of color, his lower lip quivering so violently he had to bite down on it until blood trickled onto his chin.
