Man's Best Wingman

Man's Best Wingman

My thoughts about this development got pushed aside as I looked at the art above the fireplace. We can circle back to the fact that he’s staying in a penthouse with super high-tech security with a fucking fireplace. I’m more focused on the very bold, yes that’s a good word for it, art hanging in such a prominent place. It was a long vertical framed print of a very naked tattooed man hanging upside down from a curved branch, ropes intricately wrapped around him and a gag over his mouth. I’m not sure what the Japanese characters say, but I saw the artist’s name, Felix d’Eon. It was very erotic and made me look at Clay contemplating if this was his cousin’s art or his.

Is that really how the book ends? It's a really good book but to end it that way... Especially with the trauma the two main characters seperately endured... Feels wrong to deprive the reader from getting to have that HEA with the characters.

Another wonderful book!! I have laughed so hard it hurts and this is not just a nod to romance, But Life getting in the way and our animals fully taking over and inserting themselves when we aren't brave enough to do it ourselves. Absolutely brilliant!!!

FORSAKEN WIFE, NOW A BILLIONAIRE'S GREATEST REGRET

FORSAKEN WIFE, NOW A BILLIONAIRE'S GREATEST REGRET

"Ben's got the housing. Lena's got the town. The bees have their condos. I need a new puzzle." Clara smiled. "A dinghy is a lovely puzzle. All curves and balance." Arthur leaned forward, intrigued. "I'll crew. Hank can be the grumpy admiral." Hank, carving a complex nautical knot from a piece of cherry wood, just grunted. "As long as there's a dry place for my paints." The conversation was about personal nexts, not communal ones. It was liberating. A few days after the storm passed, leaving the world scrubbed and glittering, a different kind of delivery arrived. A large, flat crate from the Museum of the Anthropocene in Stockholm. Inside, carefully packed, was a high-resolution digital print

The Art of Jessica Jane

The Art of Jessica Jane

"I think this is bigger than us." Henri nodded. As though he'd known that all along. Because perhaps he had. Later that evening, after the last visitors had left, Jessica stood alone in the exhibition room. The silence felt different now. Not lonely. Peaceful. The artwork surrounded her. Stories of survival. Stories of resilience. Stories of people refusing to be defined by what happened to them. She found herself staring at one particular piece. A simple painting of a tree. An oak tree. Strong. Weathered.

Secret Baby Of the Ruthless Billionaire

Secret Baby Of the Ruthless Billionaire

A clay sculpture of what I think was a squirrel glared at me from one table, its one remaining eye unnervingly lifelike. Finally, we reached Eddie’s display. I braced myself. It was… something. A canvas roughly the size of a cafeteria tray, smeared with swirls of red, green, and blue. In the middle, a vaguely fish-shaped creature with wings and a lopsided crown floated above what might have been a volcano or a very angry pizza. There were googly eyes glued in random places, and what I sincerely hoped was glitter glue forming a trail of smoke. I stared at it, my heart squeezing in that weird way it always did when Eddie showed me his latest creation. Was it a masterpiece? Objectively, no. Was

No signature, just a spiral drawn faintly in the corner. Ren, inspired by the growing archive, hosted an exhibit in Manila titled "Echo Between Strangers." The Gallery of Invisible Guests was expanded to include sound loops from Reese, Jo’s illustrations, Nica’s folded napkin, and even Franc’s mural panel captured in photographs. Visitors wandered through the exhibit silently, hearing not voices but feelings—footsteps pausing, pages turning, breath held in recognition.

Painting the Canvas with Love

Painting the Canvas with Love

Making Takeshi gaze move towards the hand of the body his reopened wound on his wrist. “Why can’t I just take that pretty tongue hush it will look so beautiful for my new artwork” Ryuu watches the smile fades off from the face of Takeshi. From the coner of the eyes, the boy looks over the sculptures over the coner of the room with the different shapes and sizes. Some of which was the head of the women smoking, the one hand holding the glass of pen, or the fingers in the shape of the house, eyes nose, legs running and etc.

The Billionaire's Temporary Mistress

The Billionaire's Temporary Mistress

"Where's the real art?" Marcus opened his mouth, but I was already moving. "That garbage," I said sweetly, plucking the catalog from the table, "is Takashi Murakami's “Flower Ball”series." I let the pages fall open to a marked spread. "Which directly references the same Edo-period techniques as that." Every head swiveled toward the 17th-century folding screen displayed behind Reynolds' chair. "That's…" "Pine Trees by Hasegawa Tōhaku," I interrupted, crossing to the screen with measured steps. My fingertips hovered over the gold-leaf waves.
