In about an hour we're done unpacking. At around 5PM Scott and I leave the others in the cabin and we head to the river. I've never been this close to a river and the sight is amazing! To me it looks like a sleeping cobra. The river lies quietly across the land in smooth seductive curves, beautiful in the evening light. The water looks very clean and against the noise of the birds that are joyfully chirping around, the gentle murmur of the water can only just be heard, a backdrop to the musical notes coming from above.
