Crimson Chronicles: Apollo & His Queen

"Hidden City. A haven for the lost, broken, and forgotten. It's where the abused become strong, the outcasted are wanted, and hope for mankind is revived. Blah, blah, blah. I've been there a few times." "Wait, are you a citizen?" Jonah asked "No. Though I was offered." "Protector?" "I'm not looking to play hero, remember." "Then how?" "I found it bypassed the security, which needs some serious work. I was caught, questioned, and released after declining to be a citizen. But I was still granted a pass to enter the city by a very enthusiastic fellow named Milo. He claimed to be one of the founders of the city. Ironically, isn't the Hidden City meant to be found?"

The Neighborhood Keeper

The Neighborhood Keeper

She took my breath away. I only managed to break free from the spell when the stunning woman spoke. “Is he the new guy, Emmy?” Her sweet voice was like music to my ears. Though she was talking to Emmy, her eyes fixated on me. Her gaze was inquisitive, albeit more subtle than Emmy’s. It seemed Emmy and the pretty lady were acquainted. “Yes, he is. His name is Brook D’Amico. He’s highly educated and intellectually gifted.” Emmy paused and blinked before drawling.

 UNWED AND EXPECTING

UNWED AND EXPECTING

“We have to destroy them all. It’s the only way to ensure our family’s safety.” As they deliberated their next move, a low rumble echoed through the cavern. The family froze, their eyes darting toward the entrance. From the shadows emerged a figure cloaked in black, their face obscured by a hood. “Who are you?” Wickham demanded, stepping protectively in front of Clara and the children. The figure raised a hand, revealing a glowing amulet that pulsed in time with the orb’s light. “I am the Keeper,” they said, their voice calm but commanding. “You have done well to make it this far, but your journey is not yet complete.”

The Alpha's Cursed Heir

The Alpha's Cursed Heir

“But this is worse than I thought.” The battle was fierce but brief. When the last of the dissenters fell, Lucan surveyed the scene grimly. “They’re not just holding onto the past,” he said. “They’re trying to bring it back.” The implications were chilling. The Keeper was gone, but his shadow lingered, threatening to rise again through those who refused to let him go. --- In the rumbles, Lena and her friends found a secret hoard of sinister relics buried deep in the city. The artifacts were a clear reminder of the Keeper's lasting impact, pulsing with a subtle, evil energy.

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

After all, cities near Janovin always got overshadowed. But draconic veins flowed through two things—water and mountains. Aria suspected the most hidden Wardkeeper lived in that city. This wasn't just wild speculation either. After all, Castor the Unbreakable had come from Havenwood too.

I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!

the storyline is amazing. Love the FL. She is strong, fierce, righteous and so unaware. Landon is amazing, so supportive and heart warming tho feel sad for him he is unappreciated. I wish Fiona the best and hope she gets true love Owen never deserved her. Love grandpa Warren and Barron. It's amazing

Coming Out of the Deep

Coming Out of the Deep

There was peace in the deep, and a stillness I hadn’t realized I’d needed. We kept going. Eventually, the seafloor changed. The terrain smoothed into wide-open sand beds, broken occasionally by crumbled stone pillars, scattered statues, and the skeletons of long-forgotten buildings, now worn by time and tide. Vines of coral and sea moss wrapped around the broken walls like gentle hands, reclaiming what once was. I slowed, pulling gently on Kairos’s hand. “What is this place?” Kairos looked at the ruins with a softness in his eyes. “This is the Lost City,” he said. “It was once the heart of our people. My great-grandfather lived here, long before the migration.”
