“Freya, I’m testing a new rooftop venue for events. I could use your opinion,” Kenneth said in his usual calm, no-nonsense tone.
It was eight in the evening. Freya had a good five hours of sleep. She thought they would be sleeping in, but the man was already dressed.
Kenneth was clad casually, but unmistakably polished. A fitted knit shirt hugged his frame just right, and the sleeves rolled neatly to his forearms. His hair was freshly styled and he smelled nice.
