Though that was their own choice, they did it because of us and for us,” Arthur says trying ot keep his voice level. He then turns back to our house and sucks in a sharp breath. “These are the wolves that confessed themselves as traitors as far as I’m concerned. If this war did anything at all, it sorted the bad unloyal wolves from the good ones,”

“She’s quite the beauty of course. I do find her to be attractive, and my wolf gets stirred up whenever he sees her.” Arthur sighs like he couldn’t believe he’s having feelings for a girl. “But she’s human. Why will the moon goddess give me a human as my mate?” Arthur asks as though he has foiled. This takes me back to when I was married to Arthur’s father. I was brutally maltreated, all because I was wolfless. Human. He would always make me feel unworthy of myself. Saying horrible things to me. “You are the most worthless, wolfless thing I have ever seem. So dumb and stupid. What a joke.”
