Bloodline
A huge bonfire was lit on the beach, and I smiled at the happy atmosphere in the air.
“Kiran!” A voice yelled, and a man made his way towards us.
“Karis, great to see you again,” Kiran smiled, and they hugged as well. “I brought my son, Kai, along.”
“Hi, Karis,” I said, and extended my hand to him. He laughed and hugged me.
“Good to meet you, Kai, come on let’s get some drinks,” he said, happily.
We followed him to the beach bar where every woman was dressed in a bikini and everyone was happy. Karis was easy to talk to, and soon, I was laughing so much at Izra that I put my own worries aside for the night.
