Destined Twist Of Fate
Layken jumped up and ran back inside, then came out with slices of lemon.
I watched as Layken spritzed lemon on his fish. He grinned at me as he shoved the saucer over to me. I grabbed a slice, squeezed the juice over my fish, and took a bite. “Just when I didn’t think this fish could get any better, you surprise me. Lemon brings the taste of the fish to a whole other level. I love this.”
“Thank you, babe.” Layken grins before popping an okra in his mouth. “I have some lanterns. We could set out some chairs, drink some wine and relax for a while by the stream. If you’re up to doing so, that is?”
