The Auction Dramione Audiobook Novels & Stories

Not too long after he made the bid, even before the auctioneer could say a word, another buyer raised his bidding card. “80, 000 dollars” he announced. “80, 000 dollars, anyone else?” The auctioneer uttered out from the stage. Amelia's eyes met with Lucas. The look of anguish she had earlier noticed, lingered. He kept looking around, restlessly. Something told Amelia that whatever was wrong with him had to do the auction. Not being too sure, she assumed because of how dark the auction was getting. It started as a peaceful auction, with buyers bidding only Jewelries. The auction went from Jewelries to dark painting and then finally a gun.

Four, no five…five! The same moment the slut cheered, “I win,” Riana exclaimed loudly, “Five hundred thousand! Allan you can’t be—” “Sold!” Allan yelled from the stage. Before the auctioneer could utter a single word in protest, Allan leaped off the stage and charged toward her.

The air thick with desperation in the poorly lit auction house. Laura was dragged onto the stage where lanterns casted long shadows over the crowd hungry for profit and power. Face streaked with tears, body aching, chains bit into her wrist. The auctioneer’s voice rang “Next we have a rare prize.Laura.A runt from Silvermoon pack with fire in her eyes. Who will bid for this cursed one?”. I stood there as the men with lecherous gazes watched and bid over me like I was some toy, an artifact or a possession.

The auctioneer looked around the room “The starting price is a mere six million pounds.” The bids started coming in until they reached twelve million. “Twelve million ladies and gentlemen. Twelve million pounds, can I have thirteen.” Darius leaned into me, “Play along with this Kate, it may solve all our problems” “What?” I said, my eyes wide in astonishment. Darius grinned and held his paddle up. “Are you out of your tiny mind?” I seethed through gritted teeth. But it was too late, the guy from Christie's brought his hammer down. “Sold to Mr Darius Graves!

Now it was Luna's turn, and the guards dragged Luna to stand up, but Luna refused, making the whole hall quiet as they kept staring at Luna and Aaron, who spoke, "Okay, let's start with her pricing, 1 million gold coins to go." The hall fell silent at first, as some of the dragon men didn't have up to that amount, and they knew if they gave up all that gold, nothing would be left of them. After a silence break, a North wing chief spoke, "1 million deal." Another stood up and spoke, and I saw Luna finally raise her head to stare at the dragon chiefs wanting to purchase her coldly. I sat in silence, waiting for the last bidder, and as there was still much bidding, Aaron raised it to 5 million

A voice comes over the speakers smooth, male, practiced. "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Eclipse's exclusive midnight auction. Tonight's selection is exquisite, each performer available for one private hour. Bidding starts at ten thousand dollars. Remember, what happens in Eclipse stays in Eclipse." Lot one goes first, a blonde in red lace who moves like liquid fire. Bids climb fast, fifteen, twenty, thirty. Sold for forty-two grand to a man in the front row with a Rolex that could buy a house. I watch through the curtain gap, cataloging faces. No Damien yet. My stomach tightens, not nerves, just hunger. I want him here, watching, wanting.

Gold chandeliers lit the room with warm firelight, velvet drapes covered the walls, and a string quartet was playing some haunting classical piece. The auditorium was packed with the biggest individuals you would ever see. The most powerful wolves in the world were all under one roof, each one hoping to marry into the Bloodhound dynasty. The idea made me want to laugh, these people were throwing their daughters at Dominic like offerings to a god. “An auction concealed under the guise of a gala. How poetic.” I needed a drink. I made my way to the bar, ignoring the lingering gazes of those around me, taking me apart with their eyes.

Now they were bidding on me like I was property. I had no power. No wolf. No one to save me. I lowered my head and accepted my fate. Then a voice cut through the noise like thunder. "One million dollars." The entire room went dead silent. I lifted my head to see who had spoken but before I could the announcer dropped to his knees pulling me down with him. "Sold to the Lycan King!"

I cried out, hips bucking, the audience's murmurs turning to eager whispers. “Feel that resistance? He'll fight at first, then melt—pure bliss for the dominant buyer.” My face burned, body a traitor, the drugs amplifying every sensation into a twisted cocktail of fear and forced arousal. The bidding war intensified, the two men dominating. 'Two hundred thousand!' the gravelly one bellowed. 'Two-fifty!' the smooth voice parried, unrelenting. 'Three hundred!' Gravelly pushed back. The auctioneer egged them on. “Do I hear three-fifty? This boy's a steal, marked, broken in just enough, endless potential for your pleasures!”

He's talking to someone about property values, his voice a confident baritone that I realize, with a jolt, sounds a little bit like my own. Then he's gone, disappeared into the crowd, and the moment passes. Damon appears at my side. "Ready for the auction?" "Yes." My voice sounds strange to my own ears. "Let's go." The rest of the evening passes in a blur. Damon bids extravagantly on a vacation package and a piece of art that will probably end up in storage. I applaud at appropriate moments and keep my expression pleasant and watch Kent Henry from across the room whenever I think no one is looking.
