"I just got my sister back, and I won’t risk losing her to your jealousy. This decision is final." Dad nodded in agreement. "Brandon’s right. It’s for the best." Rey tried to defend herself, her voice trembling. "But I didn’t do anything wrong! You can’t just send me away!" I looked at her coldly. "The only reason I’m not punishing you further is because Mom is weak and sick. I don’t want to upset her. But make no mistake, Rey, this is your last chance." Rey’s mouth opened and closed, but no words came out. She knew there was no point in arguing.
