wall of death

The town is just a graveyard. "Adar would've known by now that someone is here in his territory…so be careful on taking a step" Aidan spoke. ------- (meanwhile) A dark room with a small candle. 'I knew this day would come and, this room ... I know I have to return to it eventually' Nora thought looking at her room. Which is locked from the outside. It has a lard wooden door, hard to smash. A single table with a candle on it. Many books on the shelf.

The CEO'S Assistant

The CEO'S Assistant

I pleaded, desperately peeling his hand off mine and swiftly walking away. As I hurriedly made my way towards the office I had been directed to, I couldn't shake off the nagging thought that if that guy was indeed a worker there, how could he afford such an extravagantly expensive car? Pushing the question aside, I made my way to the receptionist. "Hi I'm Nora Roberts, I was told to resume today" I said to the beautiful blonde lady who looked nice. She returned my smile and searched through some files as she spoke "Oh you're the new Personal Assistant to Mr Nathaniel Lockhart"

SIR

SIR

Then silence again. Maya’s ears are ringing. She slides along the wall, trying to orient herself. The room they’re in is large. It's about twenty by thirty, with bookshelves lining two walls, a massive desk in the centre, and leather chairs scattered like islands. She's been here so many times that in daylight she could navigate it quite easily. In darkness, every step is a gamble. Light footsteps circle somewhere near the centre of the room. “You underestimated me,” Nora says, her voice moving. “That was your first mistake. Thinking I’d hide the ledger where you’d expect to find it. Thinking I’d let you walk in here and take it without a fight. You’ve spent years watching David. You never o

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters. The plot and story line. The suspense. I laughed. I got angry. I couldn’t wait for the next chapter to drop. Excellent read. Great work!!! I’ll be reading more from this author.

Omega's Rise: From Rejected Mate to Savior

Omega's Rise: From Rejected Mate to Savior

The corridors were silent, but I moved silently, as well, and my footsteps barely made a sound. When I finally reached Nora's room, I hesitated for a moment before I pushed the door very slowly. The room was dimly lit, and the faint smell of lavender filled the air. My eyes quickly scanned the room, looking for something that was going to give me some kind of clue about Nora's true intentions. My eyes settled on a small journal lying on the bedside table. I felt a surge of excitement. This could be it. I moved quickly, picking up the journal and almost flipping it open.

MY EX'S UNCLE LOVES ME

MY EX'S UNCLE LOVES ME

Nora said, though her voice carried an edge that Jake didn’t seem to notice, It’s going to be… unforgettable. "yeah so when do we go?", Jake asked. "Tomorrow morning," Nora replied. "Tomorrow sounds perfect babe" , Jake said and as they continued talking, her eyes drifted to the window. Outside, the city lights glittered like a thousand tiny stars, masking the shadows that lurked in the alleys below. When the call ended, she placed the phone back on the desk and leaned back in her chair. The sweet, innocent expression she had worn during the call melted away, replaced by a cold, calculating stare.

The Alphas Hunt

The Alphas Hunt

I pressed myself back against the wall and watched one of the guards roll his eyes when they sprung to action. Nora stood leaning against the door when I finally peeled myself from the wall and walked down the foyer. Her eyes played mischievously when she stepped into the light and my eyes were immediately drawn to the leather miniskirt and the low-cut top. “What was that howl? What happened?” I asked as if she would know. To my surprise, Nora winked and hooked her arm in mine as we walked out to a car. “I called in a favor from our new resident rogues,”

The book was great. The first section was quite disturbing & I almost stopped reading it. I'm glad I persevered as the twists & turns, as well as the character development, made it compelling & worthwhile.

There are A LOT of spelling mistakes at first, and trust me, I almost stopped reading because I was so irritated. But I’m SO GLAD I stuck with it because the storytelling and character dev is so good!! There are still spelling mistakes throughout, but much less frequent. Can’t wait for book 2!!!

Shadow of Yesterday

Shadow of Yesterday

She grabbed a pack and left for work. The snow was nowhere to be seen on the roads. Only the last of the ice on shingles and naked branches remained. The sun shone the brightest in the past few weeks. Her Beetle navigated smoothly through the traffic and reached her workplace. The bank looked like new. The janitor had knocked himself out over it. The lines at the parking lot were retraced and the sidewalk was power-washed. It sparked a childish excitement inside her. She cheerfully strolled inside and greeted her coworkers. The bank wasn't open for the public yet and Brenda was in early as usual. She was filing her nails behind her counter and greeted Jessica back. The light in the president

Stepbrother's Filthy Toy (An Erotica Collection)

Stepbrother's Filthy Toy (An Erotica Collection)

Nora’s POV “Do not move. Do not make a sound.” Marcus Hale’s voice stayed low and absolute against the back of my neck. His cock remained buried to the hilt inside me. My palms stayed flat on the polished conference table. The master key had already turned. The door handle began to move. City lights still glittered through the glass walls, throwing our joined reflection across every dark panel. I was Nora Blake, twenty-seven, the associate who had spent two nights learning exactly how little control she still owned on this floor. The thin fabric of my skirt sat bunched around my waist. My bare cunt clenched once around him in pure fear and he answered with a single warning press of his finge

In His Ruins

In His Ruins

"The pantry is packed to the rafters, the woodshed is full to the roof, and the only place we need to be for the next three days is right here." Nora looked up from her knitting, a soft, affectionate smile touching her lips. She set the needles and yarn down on the small side table, leaning back comfortably against the cushions of the rocking chair. "It's strange," Nora murmured, her gaze drifting toward the frost-patterned windowpanes where the winter darkness was beginning to swallow the last bruised light of the alpine sunset. "Six months ago, the cold felt like an enemy. Every drop in temperature meant frozen locks, scarce rations, and wondering if the council's enforcers were tracking o

My Husband’s Hot Boss

My Husband’s Hot Boss

I have put my sim back in my phone but I don’t even need it again. I just abandoned it. Today, Asher didn’t lock the door. After taking my bath and doing my necessary chores, I retired to the compound with a novel. Born in death by Nora Roberts. I started reading it yesterday. I saw it in my things. I had bought it a long time ago but didn’t have them to read it. Am intrigued with the story already and couldn’t wait to read as everything unfolds. I was engrossed in the book I didn’t notice someone enter.
