Dustin shifted into gear and let the truck start picking up speed. ‘I can tell it’s going to be a long ride into Dallas,’ he grumbled. ‘It’s always a shame to meet a man who can dish it out but who can’t take it,’ Jill said innocently. ‘And that is supposed to mean what?’ ‘That you were plenty willing to use me as joke bait this morning. Jack said, his face scrunched up in a feigned annoyance. “Jill has something to say,” she said, looking at Jill, who immediately looked down to hide his flushed cheeks. “Alright, I’ll be the spokesperson,” Jade said, her lips twitching as she tried to stifle her grin. “Jill is getting married soon!!” Her voice rose in excitement, and the room erupted in joyful cheers.

And the attitude that Shane is throwing right now is just a product of the trauma that she got from those shitty pranks of Jill. “Come on, girl! You are so ridiculous!
