IXavier's POV The weight of our ongoing battle begins to dissipate as I whisk Leah away on a luxurious day out. We board a private helicopter, soaring high above the city's skyline, the wind tousling our hair as we marvel at the breathtaking view. Leah's laughter fills the air, infectious and full of joy, as we revel in this moment of respite. I can’t imagine being mean to this woman ever again. We touch down on a secluded island, a hidden gem known only to a privileged few. The pristine white sand caresses our feet, and the turquoise waters beckon us to dive in. With childlike excitement, Leah tugs at my hand, pulling me towards the beach.

He layed me down in the sand and I gave myself to him, my mate, my bestfriend, and my first and only love, and when I woke up I was alone and broken. “But sometimes reckless is the only way to make a ripple in someone else’s still water.” I blinked at her, surprised. “That’s… surprisingly poetic for someone who once got kicked out of class for eating donuts during a math test.” Yeah Leah once told me about it. She flipped her hair with a smirk. “Even geniuses have weak moments.” We both laughed again. “So,” Leah said after a pause, eyes twinkling, “what do you say we go out today? Clear our heads, have some fun, maybe even swim a little?” I raised an eyebrow. “Swim?”

‘After a while, it won’t hurt at all. I walked back to the clearing, and my friends and family were already there. They hugged me and gave me a lot of kisses. They are proud of me and happy that I finally have my wolf. Nobody mentioned that I am a pure white again, so I just decided to forget about it. It is nothing special. I am nothing special. Luna Gloria left first. We stayed at the clearing for a while, just chatting and laughing. After a few minutes, we started walking back.

He slowed his pace, creeping through the shadows to investigate. He found her in a small clearing, kneeling over a deer. "I won't hurt you. I’m going to heal you. Just stay still, beautiful," Lea whispered. Drex watched, mesmerized, as Lea closed her eyes and took a deep breath. A dim, ethereal light began to glow from her palms. Drex’s eyes widened. She was using a power she had never mentioned. The light grew brilliant as she touched the deer’s wounded leg. When she pulled her hand away, the wound was gone. The skin was whole.

The television played quietly in the background while she scrolled through her phone, with nothing else left to do. She wasn’t paying much attention until a familiar face suddenly appeared on the screen, and her fingers froze. It was Leah. Calla slowly lowered her phone and turned her full attention to the television. The news reporter spoke calmly while photographs of Leah appeared across the screen. “…following several charges related to conspiracy, kidnapping, obstruction of justice, and aiding criminal activity, Leah Pierce has officially been sentenced to ten years in prison.” Calla blinked, eyes growing wide in shock. Ten years? That was a long time.

“What about Liam? I think that you know that the girl is just an addition to what I want.” “I have my plans for Liam, but once she's gone I'll be controlling everything. He'll be far too heartbroken to be able to do anything. And that's when you come in. Get what you want, but I will be in charge of what I call my home. Is that clear?” “Crystal.” He said with the smirk on his face. “Well, I guess now that I have my answer I'll just need to wait for the results, no?”

But Leah smiled serenely at the cameras, as if the world were her loyal audience. “I want to clear the air today with full honesty.” My stomach turned. Every time she said the word “honesty,” I wanted to scream. She took a breath, lowered her gaze for dramatic effect, then looked straight at the camera. “There is a woman who has made it her mission to tear this family apart.” I froze. “She manipulated Zane Blackwood,” Leah said, soft and sorrowful. “She preyed on his trauma and vulnerability.” My heart hammered in my chest.

I had underestimated the white's wealth and affluence. I attended Claudia's court hearing and she had been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of a model and my kidnap. She gave me a smirk. I guess she has not regretted her actions, serves her right. Leah graduated from College last week and has plans to move in with Seth who now lives in Hawaii. They plan on getting married soon. Sadly, Sarah passed on 3 months ago. She slept and never woke up. It was a great loss for the whites and Seth. Sarah left Seth some money and the white has supported him in his plans to move to Hawaii to pursue his master's program in Horticulture.

There was a pause. The kind that tells you someone is choosing their next words carefully. “The summary,” he said finally, “is that I got you an assistant.” I sat up straighter. “You what?” “She’s one of the best,” he said. “Her name is Leah. She has worked with Teni Lawson, Maya West, Amara Blake, and two media personalities you like. She will make your life easier. And safer. And she will help you manage this… attention.”
