The Mourning of Love

The Mourning of Love

I giggled and sank into the tidal wave of his love. The night stretched long, and so would our happiness. Not long after, I became pregnant. When Caleb and I visited our new villa, we saw Thomas and Juliet tending flowers in the park. Their old clothes were streaked with dirt. Adrian was nearby, drunk in broad daylight, with a crying baby beside him. Under the scorching sun, their former pride had long since vanished. Seeing me, they hastily pulled on their masks and hurried away with Adrian. Their aging figures were the very picture of desolation.

Destroying the Holy Husband

Destroying the Holy Husband

It was something I had always wanted to do. Now, with his mind completely broken, I had the perfect reason. "Darling, don't leave me," he begged. "Please don't leave me here." I patted his face, suddenly feeling amused. "Darling? I'm not your wife anymore. You've killed me with your own hands." I hoped the psychiatric ward could cleanse Gideon of his sins. In the end, I donated all five million dollars to the Children's Fund. March's spring breeze blew gently.

When Grief Replaced Love

When Grief Replaced Love

I'd trade my life for yours. I couldn't breathe, couldn't think. I was gonna lose it if I didn't do something. So I trashed everything that belonged to Fabian. Then I called HR and fired Roxana. A few minutes later, Fabian stormed in, face dark. I clutched Luca's urn, eyes burning. "If I'd known firing her would drag you back, I'd have done it sooner. Maybe then you would've shown up for your son's funeral. This—" I held the urn tighter. "This is all that's left of him. You still wanna see him?"

After Rebirth, I Let the Intern Dig Her Own Grave

After Rebirth, I Let the Intern Dig Her Own Grave

"Cassie, that's a new low, messing up this bad and then trying to pin it on Director Erin." "Honestly. How do you do something this reckless and then act surprised?" "You owe everyone here money. Pay us back!" Jason finally snapped out of it. He hauled himself up and roared at Tom. "Shut it down! Kill the servers, cut the connection, stop the bleeding!" Tom smiled grimly and shook his head. "It's too late, Jason." "The withdrawal function was set to instant. The money is already sitting in digital wallets across those bot accounts." "If we kill the servers now, we don't get the money back. We also trigger a unilateral termination clause with the platform."

Hope Mired in Regret

Hope Mired in Regret

“Tell her to get lost! I refuse to call her my daughter!” “She wouldn’t be able to return to you anymore,” said the doctor coldly. “Ryleigh passed away.” Only silence came through the line. After a few seconds, Jonah’s angry voice came through. “What a show! Tell her to stop faking it! How dare she fake her death just because she doesn’t want to donate her kidney? Make her answer the phone! I want to give her a piece of my mind!” “Calm down, sir.”

The Surprising Tribute

The Surprising Tribute

Zaya still continued to smile and dance but she was no longer warm towards anyone, especially me. Before I killed him, she glanced my way several times. Now I could barely get her to look my way. I could feel her grieving. She breathed deep to keep the tears from forming, but a sheer sheet of water covered her eyes. I couldn’t take it anymore. “Excuse me, everyone!” I shouted and the music stopped. “Me and Luna Zaya are going to retire now. I want to formally thank everyone for coming and joining us.” I grabbed her cold hand and led her away from the room full of wolves. We headed straight for the car. Zaya informed me earlier that everything was packed and in the car. All we had to do was j

I love you writing and originally found you through another app... but I noticed that 'The Suprising Tribute' has more chapters available on this app. Is it supposed to combine the mating season, or is this an entirely different 2nd book? Is there anywhere we can follow you/ your writing?

Alpha's Substitute Bride

Alpha's Substitute Bride

With tears in my eyes, I ask, "Can you promise me everything will be alright? The baby and I aren't going to die here... are we?" They assure me that my energy is still vibrant, showing no signs of fading anytime soon. However, they reveal that there's a soul I'm close to that will soon transition to the life pool. After pausing to think, they correct themselves, saying they sense two souls dimming. One is scheduled to depart at the right time, but the other will cross over prematurely. "And you can't tell me who they are?" I plead, desperately wanting to know. "It's not our place to reveal that, Sweetheart. Just remember that whoever joins us, and whenever it happens, they will always be a

The Heir

The Heir

He was a ghost, haunting the edges of a world that had moved on without him. "He'll never stop hunting us," Vivian said one evening, sitting by the fire in the new house. Her sister, Elena—the other Elena—lived with her now, healing from years of captivity. "Men like him don't know how." "Then we'll be ready," Riley said. "We'll always be ready. That's what an heir does—protects what was given." --- The second anniversary of Tata Pedro's death fell on a rainy Tuesday. Riley woke before dawn, kissed Kyle's sleeping shoulder, and walked to the orchard alone. The rain was soft, warm, the kind of rain that made things grow.

The Pack's Triquetra

“Down the hatch!” Heath slid out of the car, closing them in. Rhett met him between the two vehicles and Heath cupped his hands so that Rhett could light his cigarette whilst holding his hair out of the flame. As his mate breathed out the smoke, he raised his eyebrows. “The gazebo is empty.” “So’s the graveyard, no one getting buried today,” Heath’s eyes swept across the tidy rows of graves. “She’s here, somewhere. I know it. Don’t you?”

Fantastic follow up to the first book. I keep going back to the first one to reread the corresponding chapters. It’s so good to see all the perspectives. I cannot wait to see what happens next. Such a clever way to present a story. I’m hooked. I’ll read anything this author puts out at this point.

Regret After Her Final Goodbye

Regret After Her Final Goodbye

He said I had not done anything bad and could go to heaven, but I would forget everything if I left. He asked if I had any last wishes. I shook my head. I did not want to hold on to anything. Before I left, I looked back one last time and saw Janet at my grave. She put white flowers there and prayed with her hands together. I decided to drop a leaf on her shoulder. Janet looked up, and our eyes met. She could not see me, but she seemed to feel I was there and smiled. I smiled back, thankful, and then I walked away.
