I am left feeling empty as if my actions have been in vain. No matter what I do, the void inside me remains unfilled. But after so many attempts, it became someone's hobby to see the blood drip out of their bodies, a twisted fascination that provided a temporary escape from the numbness. Each cut served as a reminder that I was still capable of feeling something, even if it was pain. It's a sign that somehow I am still alive.

His skin seemed to pale as the life fluid drained out of him. My other hand pressed to his neck feeling his pulse getting slower and weaker with every second ticking by. "Shit!" Liam hissed, "Stay here, I am gonna go get a doctor. They left him to freaking bleed to death!" With that, he scurried out of the room so fast. I stayed close by his side, tears drenching my cheeks and my heart pounding hard at the sight ahead of me. There was so much blood - dark crimson, with a discreet, metallic scent. It cascaded across his skin, right into the floor. I shakily placed my hand on it hoping it would just stop. I stifled back tears as I said, "Please don't die.."

My mouth goes dry, realising what this means for me, being out in public bleeding the colour that I do. I've always bled the colour purple. No one has been able to provide answers as to why, and due to the questions it arises, mother and I have kept it a secret between us and a few others. Lei knows, and a few other close friends, along with mothers personal physician, and that's practically it. I've gotten lucky never bleeding in public, yet out here, there's a chance anyone could see me. The sound of ice cracking beneath me has me looking over my shoulder.

🥀 MELONIE'S POV 🥀 I felt more alive, it was as if blood was the medicine I should have taken since the beginning of my horrifying pregnancy. I looked down at the empty bowls of blood on the ground. I could tell that such an amount of blood didn’t come from one or two people, it definitely came from tons of people and lives. They say blood is the life force that flows through mortal veins and the essence of life itself, so why blood?

Before I even knew it, a drop of blood hit the ground. Oh no...

“You wouldn’t believe it if I told you.” I take a deep breath, the words tumbling out before I can stop them. “I think I’m dead. Or at least, not alive. I don’t even know what I am anymore.” My voice cracks, and I bite down hard on my lip, trying to keep the tears at bay. “I have to drink blood now. Can you believe that? Blood. To survive.” I shake my head, my vision blurring. “I don’t know how this happened, or why it happened to me. I’m scared, Mom. I’m so scared.”

Blood is flowing down as the cut is deep……. I can't see but I know that the bed sheet is now ruined with my blood. Not virginity blood but my life losing blood. It must be looking red.. The colour of love and the colour of death…. Hugging his photo close to my heart , I kept remembering our time together that we spent until my vision started to get blurry making me know that I'm losing it. Finally I'm losing my life and getting the peace I wanted. I closed my eyes, surrendering to the darkness with a smile on my lips.

My vision blurred and darkened, and I knew I was running out of time. The metallic scent of my own blood filled my nostrils, mingling with the damp, earthy smell of the forest floor. I pressed my hand against the wound, trying to stem the flow, but it was useless. Blood seeped through my fingers, warm and sticky, a constant reminder that my life was ebbing away.

To my horror I saw blood flowing from my thighs down to my legs. "Oh God... Help! Somebody please I'm bleeding!" I screamed, terrified. I can't die! Someone help! I'm not ready to die, my life is still a mess and I can't die like this. I cried especially because of the pain. I could hardly breathe while carrying it. I can't suppress my pleas and screams. And after that, everything went black My head felt very light the moment I woke up. I'm clueless what time it is or where I am.

My hands are holding my neck while I pant and breathe rapidly. What exactly is going on? I'm not sure. I ought to be dead, am I not? The moment the metal punctured my neck, I know I’m going to die. Why, though, do I feel alive? I'm breathing, why? I don't comprehend
