Leviathan Wakes Book Novels & Stories

“And then I was drawn to this book in the library. I think… I think it might have answers about the awakening.” The three of us huddled around the ancient book as Lily carefully opened it on my bed. The pages were old and fragile, with ink that had faded and strange symbols on them. As we carefully read the confusing text, some phrases seemed to stand out to me. “See this,” I said, pointing to a sentence near the end of a page. “It mentions a 'Catalyst' who will start a big change with magic. Could that be related to what's happening?” Xander leaned in closer, his brow furrowed in concentration. “It's possible. But what does it mean by 'revolution'? And how does it tie into the awakening the

As she slowly drifted off into her slumber, she couldn’t help but recall the words of Leviathan as it introduced itself, and a thought sprang into her mind. “Is Leviathan a snake of ancient times?? I’d check the library first thing tomorrow morning to find out more.”

Like a picture rising from deep, dark water, details once blurred now sharpening around the edges. Conversations. Faces. Dim hotel rooms. Secret exchanges in smoky bars. A phone call I never should’ve answered. A deal I initiated. And then—Linderman. I shook it off. Reached for distractions. Rearranged throw pillows that didn’t need adjusting. Tilted a vase a few degrees to the left. Scrolled aimlessly through my phone. Eventually, I drifted into a shallow sleep right in the living room. When I woke, the room was dipped in gold, shadows stretching long across the walls. Evening had arrived faster than usual.

Making him fall to his knees Trixie rolled out of his hand and started running towards Shawna and Tavie. “Do yall really think this is the time to talk about who’s to blame.” Trixie yelled, glancing back seeing that the Leviathan was already up and his leg was growing back. “Yes because we wouldn’t be in this mess if you didn’t have to have those damn grenades.” Tavie said as he fired his gun again at the Leviathan. “Would you stop firing that water gun at that thing you’re just pissing him off at this point.” Shawna said, firing another missile at the same leg that was growing back but the Leviathan slap the missile away. The Leviathan was blocking their way to the underground city, when th

*** Levi’s dreamless slumber was so blissful that he woke up fully rested even before the alarm he set up on his communicator yesterday night started ringing. Levi stared at the treasure sleeping in his arms for a while, his eyes soft and lips unconsciously upturned. Then he utilized his power to stealthily get out of bed without disturbing his darling’s slumber. Levi washed his teeth and took another thorough shower, after which he didn’t bother putting on any clothes. He checked the time on the wall clock, confirming that his baby should be waking up any minute now. And then, with hot blood roiling inside his veins, he returned back to bed to properly handle his sleeping beauty.

He is ignoring them and building it his way. The northern ice is holding. The fifty nodes are locked. But the ocean is getting loud, Jace. The Leviathans in the deep trenches are waking up to the rhythm. Keep your ears open. Blood and Iron. - Torin. I let out a low breath, folding the letter and sliding it into my pocket. "The Leviathans," Elara murmured, having read the letter over my shoulder. "When we dropped the anchors... we didn't just wake up the magma, did we?"

My heart thudded, but my steps did not falter. King Leviathan wanted a spectacle. He would get one. Only not the one he planned. ############################

His words in replayed themselves in my mind on repeat. Forever beautiful. Forever powerful. And while he did not say it, I knew I would forever be a slave to the hunger for blood. "Immortality can wait. There is vengeance to claimed. These liar and fakes, I promised them death. I must keep my word." I growled at Evan. Caring not for the eternity tomorrow but for revenge today. My creator smirked reaching into his beast pocket once more and handed me another vile filled with some kind of green liquid. "Drink this." He tossed it to me.

She should have listened to Tirana and maybe she wouldn't be facing this strange golden eyed man who was walking up her in slow steps. What she didn't know was that even if she didn't open the door, Leviathan would still appear into the house. So it was either the easy way or the hard way. “ Let me help your little brain remember ” Leviathan said with an evil smile on his lips as he looked at Ashely who already glued herself to the wall in fear unknown to him that his golden eyes had already turn

Drones collided mid air, half obeying, half resisting. Aurora flexed her hands one last time before the chapter’s crescendo. She felt a singular pulse, strong, deliberate, undeniable. A massive Leviathan, larger than any other, veered completely from her command. Its crimson core flared, independent, intelligent. Aurora’s layered voice dropped to a whisper: “This is only the beginning.” The creature rose high above the fractured skyline, hovering between sectors, scanning, judging. And then, its eyes locked on her.
