"I'm sorry, the Queen mother have written it on the rules book about the stories you love ready Every time and..." "Queen mother this, Queen mother that, tell me something, do you know everything?" Liam asked.

Liam tried to recall if anyone had been in his room or if he had purchased it himself, but he couldn't remember purchasing anything yesterday, and if anyone had come in his room, shouldn't he have known? With cautious curiosity, he slowly opened the book, revealing parchment pages that seemed equally ancient. The text was written in a language he couldn't decipher, a series of symbols and characters that were entirely very unfamiliar to him. It was as if the book belonged to another time and place. But what was it doing in his bedroom, and who brought it? Liam's mind raced with questions. Who had left this mysterious book in his room, and what did it contain, were the questions bothering him

It had been exactly a month since the liar gas was exposed. It all started in a science lab. It was supposed to be kept a secret by the inventors but one of the scientists had been careless enough to allow the release of the dangerous gas into the atmosphere. At first, the government tried to conceal this secret, hoping it would go unnoticed by the public. But then, things grew worse. It wasn't even a minute old after a lie when the victim would cough and fall to their knees, then pass away.

I was running out of time and I was beginning to grow frustrated. "When you are forced to pick between two evils, you pick NEITHER of them and choose a third option instead". I could see Aria pull out a book from the shelf and place it gently on the table. It was very heavy, considering how little she was but she managed by herself. "What book is this?" I murmured quietly trying not to draw attention to myself. The picture in the first page of the book was Zemia, his siblings and who I assumed are his parents . I slide the bookshelf open and take the book out. I flip to the last entry on the book and read the profile of Liana. It says she is the current oracle of the moon goddess and became the mate of the Alpha. There’s no mention of the fact that she stole the ‘’alpha’ from his original mate and watched as she was kicked out before taking her position. I let out a humourless laugh and flip through the other pages. A piece of old brown paper falls to the ground just as I hear Ida alert me of movement outside the door. I quickly replace the book and close the bookshelf before swiping the paper into my pocket just as Liana walks into the room.
