Chapter 8
SamanthaI WOKE up with a blanket covering my naked body. Dylan's not around and it relieved me. I feel it would be better not to see him after what he did to me last night. He used me like I am some kind of whore and I loath him for that.
A sarcastic smile formed in my lips as I gripped the blanket that's covering my body. Seriously? After using me like that, he'll cover me with a blanket as if nothing happened.
I balled my fist and slowly sat on the bed. I bit my lower lip as pain sting in between my legs. I groaned and pushed myself to stand. Covered with blanket, I went inside the bathroom, limping.
Slowly, I started caressing my arm. I swallowed hard and faced the mirror in the bathroom. With trembling hands, I dropped the blanket and squeezed my eyes closed as I saw the reflection of my body in the mirror.
There are kiss marks in my chest and arm, down to my stomach and legs.
I took a deep breath and made my way to the shower area. I started rubbing my skin, trying to remove the traces of his touch and kiss.
After taking a bath, I went to the kitchen. I saw Jacob putting a cup of coffee in front of Dylan.
I froze and was about to turn my back when Dylan noticed me. He immediately pulled me and made me sat on his lap. I tried to stand up, but he firmly held my waist and made me faced him.
His jaw clenched. “Let me ravish you before I go to work, sweetheart.”
I was about to move my face when he pulled me by my nape and crashed his lips against mine. His other hand made its way inside my shorts and started rubbing me.
I bit his lips and got off him, but he's quick to grab my wrist that made me flinched. He threw the coffee from the table and harshly pushed me on it. He bent my body as he pressed his body against mine. He started kissing my neck from the back as I met Jacob's blue eyes.
I felt so dirty and disgusted as Dylan pressed his front against my back.
Tears started pooling in my eyes.
“Listen here, sweetheart. You don't have the rights to refuse to me. I'm just giving back what your father did to my mother. You see, I'm still being nice to you since you haven't lost your mind.” he whispered in my ear and cupped my front.
I flinched as my breathing became rugged. I withdraw my stare from Jacob and bit my lower lip as I tried to push Dylan away from me.
“Jacob, leave us. I don't want you to see my wife's body as I f*ck her.” Dylan commanded.
Fear consumed me as I shifted my gaze back to Jacob. I started shaking my head as tears started streaming down my face.
Jacob avoided my gaze. “I'm sorry, sir, but you're gonna be late for your meeting.”
Dylan slammed his fist on the table. “Just f*cking leave, Jacob, or you want to join us, do you?”
I balled my trembling fist. I dropped my eyes on the table as I hear Jacob's footsteps, leaving the kitchen.
I squeezed my eyes closed as Dylan tore my clothes again and started using my body for his own selfish pleasure.
Every move and every kiss he does, my stomach is turning upside down, making me want to puke in disgust.
I swallowed hard and dropped my exhausted body on the floor after he's done. He then buckled his belt and kissed my lips again before leaving me in the kitchen.
Panting, I rested my back against the dining table and squeezed my eyes closed. Tears escaped my eyes, but I maintained my emotionless face. I'm so tired with this life.
I flinched when a warm arm gently carried me, after a cloth covered my body. My eyes widened as Jacob's blue, intense eyes welcomed me.
His jaws are clenched. He's also half naked because he covered my naked body with his black t-shirt.
I looked away. “P-Please put me down.”
“I'm sorry.”
My heart pounded as I shifted my gaze back to him. “W-Why?”
His stares become more intense as anger formed in his eyes. “I don't have a choice. I need his money to save my dying mother.”
I didn't respond, instead, I rested my head against his naked chest as he started walking. His palm in my legs is too warm and his body against mine is too hard. I don't know, but, I suddenly felt secure and comfortable in his arms.
“W-Where is he?” I asked, almost whispering.
“He left already. Do you wanna escape? I will help you.”
I chuckled without humor. “Your mother is dying.”
“I'll look for another job.”
I squeezed my eyes closed as I swallowed hard. We reached the bedroom, and he slowly deposited me on the bed. He's also quick to cover my nakedness with a blanket as he stared at me with so much emotion in his eyes which I couldn't read.
I stared back at him. “I can't leave yet. He's hiding my brother.”
He stood beside the bed and took a deep sigh. He slowly nodded. “I will think of a way to help you.”
I appreciate that he want to help me, but I just can't accept pity from anyone. With my situation, pride is the only thing that's left in me.
I shook my head. “I'm not your responsibility, Jacob.”
“I-I don't understand, miss Samantha, how did you end up with him?”
I smiled, a faint one. “We were in love, at least I thought,” I shook my head again. “He's just after my wealth and is up for revenge.”
He didn't respond. He just stared at me for a second before pressing his lips together. He slipped his hands inside his pocket. “I'll be in the living area, miss Samantha, if you need anything, just shout my name.”
I couldn't help but to laugh. What is he, a superhero?
I looked at him again, who's now confused after I laughed. I faintly smiled. “Can you cook for me again? I'm hungry.”
He nodded. “Okay, just give me thirty minutes.”
I stared at the door after he left. I felt so feeble in bed. I'm glad that Jacob is there to carry me because I know I wouldn't be able to walk back in the bedroom after what Dylan did.
I'm just physically and emotionally exhausted.
Chapter 9Samantha I'M EATING lunch with Jacob across me. He's also silently eating, and I couldn't help but to glance at him from time to time. After what happened this morning, I suddenly felt urges to trust this man in front of me, but I'm just too scared to trust another man again. “Don't you like the food, miss Samantha?” I blinked my eyes continuously and shook my head. “No, it's okay.” He nodded and continued eating. I then pursed my lips before opening my lips to speak again. “What's your previous job, Jacob?” He stilled and lifted his chin. He stared at me. “I was a photographer.” That shocked me. “That's too far from being a bodyguard.” He nodded. “Yeah. Actually, I applied to be a security guard in your company but Mr. Davidson gave me a different job and yeah, I became your bodyguard and maid.” His last word made me laughed. I was enjoying my lunch with him when I suddenly realized that there might be a C
Chapter 10Samantha I WENT to the living area as soon as Jacob left. I palmed my face and started massaging my nose bridge. What would I do now that Lucian found me? He's stubborn. He'll surely pick a fight with Dylan as soon as he found out about what's happening to me. I shook my head and was about to go upstairs when someone started knocking in the door. My lips parted as my heart pounded in fear. Who could that be? I gasped and bit my lower lip, there's no way that Jacob or Dylan would knock in the door. With pounding heart, I went to the front door and opened it. I came face to face with Lucian, who immediately pulled me for a tight hug. “Sam, what happened? Why didn't you tell me that you got married?” I quickly pushed him away and looked at the camera that's actually facing our spot. Oh, my God! I looked at Lucian. “Lucian, please leave.” Confusion was written on his face, but he fiercely shook
Chapter 11Samantha I've gone numb. I can no longer feel the pain every time Dylan used my body, it's as if I'm used to it and my mind is now refusing to feed off his fetish by seeing me crying and begging to him. I don't know, after what he did to me in the living area, I just woke up the next day that I already lost the weak side of mine. “Miss Samantha.” I lifted my chin only to meet Jacob's blue eyes. His icy blue eyes are screaming how worried he is for me. I know, he noticed the changes in me, which Dylan also did as he confronted me last night about my attitude. I blinked as stared at his intense eyes. “Please eat.” Jacob said, almost pleading. I creased my forehead at him. Why is he doing this? Taking care of me is not a part of his job. He's only here to look after me as per Dylan's command. I just stared at him, trying to search for a possible reason of why he's being nice to me. I pursed my lips. “Why do you care
Chapter 12Samantha I LOOKED at Jacob, and he immediately avoided my gaze. I don't know if I'm just hallucinating, or he's really staring at me whenever I'm not looking at him. Have I gone paranoid? Perhaps it's because I was avoiding him for the past few days. I shook my head and grabbed the remote control. I turned the television on and started searching for a movie. Better not to think of him, besides, he's just my bodyguard. I didn't find the movie interesting, so I decided to turn the television off. I pulled myself up and was about to go upstairs when Jacob stopped me by blocking my way. I lifted my chin and met his eyes. “Are you mad at me, miss Samantha?” My forehead creased. “No.” “Then, why aren't you talking to me?” I straightened my back. Does it really matters to him? “Am I entitled to talk to you every day?” “No, but we were good last time. What happened? Did I do something wrong? Did I of
Chapter 13Samantha “WHY do you have to do that?” I asked him with rugged breathing. He could've pushed Lucian away, but he didn't, instead he beat him up and if not for Jacob, he wouldn't stop. Dylan grabbed both of my arms and glared at me with raging eyes. “You don't want me to beat him? Why? Because you're having an affair with him?!” I clenched my fist and looked at him with disgust. “You're insane, Dylan.” He laughed like a devil and gripped my arms tighter. His jaw clenched. “Oh, sweetheart. Yes, I am insane because no one in his right mind will do this.” I was about to push him away when he pushed me on the wall and attacked my lips. I gasped when he bit my lower lip, causing it to bleed. His hands started wandering in my body as my heart started pounding in fear. My hands started shaking, but the thought of feeding his fetish by seeing me in fear froze me. No! I can't show any more fear. With all my courage, I pushe
Chapter 14Samantha I'M so thankful that Dylan wasn't able to go home tonight. His absence calmed me, and it will surely make me sleep soundly tonight. Just the mere thought of not having him around makes me wanna jump in happiness, I just hope he completely disappeared in my life. After dinner, I went back to the bedroom. I tried sleeping early, but I couldn't, so I went to the living area only to see Jacob in the couch, he's drinking while puffing a cigarette. Slowly, I went to him and sat on the couch across him. He sat straight and stared at my eyes. “Why are you still awake, Samantha?” I wanted to ask why he dropped the honorifics that he used to call me, but that wasn't important. “Do you need something?” he added another question, which I also refused to answer. I don't have anything to say, and I can't think of anything apart from staring at him without feeling embarrassed. His forehead creased. “Samantha?” I
Chapter 15Samantha “I WILL BE attending a party, you have to come with me.” Dylan said with an authority. He's facing the mirror while drying his wet hair. He just got home, and I'm so happy that he didn't think of touching me tonight. He then glanced at me through the mirror and glared. “Didn't you hear me?” I heaved a sigh and got off the bed. I quickly went to the bathroom and took a quick shower. When I came back, Dylan is sitting at the edge of the bed and there's a red evening gown on the bed. “Wear this.” he coldly said and left. I just heaved another sigh and grabbed the dress. He's taking me with him, I don't know if I should be thankful about that because I can distract myself from thinking about Jacob's confession. I haven't seen him tho, he's always avoiding me, which is good because I will do the same if I saw him. After putting a light makeup, I went to the living area. Dylan quickly grabbed my hand and dragged me out
Chapter 16SamanthaJACOB keeps on glancing at me while we're going home from the party. Dylan is beside me, and he's fast asleep—completely drunk. I rolled my tongue over my lips as I glance at Jacob through the rear mirror. He caught my stare, and he smiled—showing me his perfect set of teeth and beautiful smile that could make any woman fall for him.I still can't believe that he likes me—even if I'm like this. I'm miserable and broken. How did he end up liking someone like me?The whole ride was silent. When we reached the house, I stared at Dylan—trying to figure out if I have to wake him up or just leave him here sleeping. The door beside me was pulled open. I turned my gaze at Jacob, who's staring down at me. “Let's go inside, so you can take a rest.”I pressed my lips together. “How about him?” and then I turned my gaze back to Dylan beside me.“Let him be.”
