It fit perfectly and I liked it almost at once. Determined to uncover the truth, I eagerly flipped through the pages, wholly absorbed in my new discovery. For a book tucked so far away I expected lots of details but disappointment was an understatement. It gnawed at me as I scanned the first few pages. They were filled with the name ‘lilith,’ over and over, like a haunting chant echoing through the musty pages. I turned the pages with growing frustration, each leaf marred by the name– lilith, lilith, lilith.

I correct myself and I open the book to the tracking spell and read words. Placing a large metal bowl in front of me I fill it with my green flame. With a snap of my fingers the lights that illuminate the library all go out except for the fire in the bowl in front of me.
