I lifted the heavy leather jacket out of the box, with the back of it facing me. The crew’s symbol is dead smack in the center of the back, and tiny pink rhinestones have been stitched across the shoulder blades spelling out ‘queen’ in all capital lettering! The sleeves are pink leather, and the word ‘wifey’ has been embroidered down the back of each arm in black. When I hold it out in front of me, it reads ‘Queen of Hart’s’. I rubbed the rhinestones before looking up into Spin’s smirking face and asking, “you want me as your queen”?

A he-wolf spoke up. “Yes.” Another shouted from another angle. “You're the best Queen we could ever ask for.” “The Queen one can only dream about and see in the movies.” Another said. “LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!” Someone else yelled. “LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!” Some of them chorused again, and then the entire multitude joined in. “LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!” It was loud and mighty. “LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!” It shook the grounds. “LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!”

The queen was beyond frustrated. She looked at the crowd and spoke in a serious tone, "I fear failure!!! But that doesn't mean I will deny failure. Now that we have lost three army members, we need to fasten up the process as we are lacking time." She announced, "In order to rectify my mistake, I shall take this worthless life and bring more into our cult." The crowd cheered on the announcement and without wasting another second, The queen dug her long sharp fangs in the neck of the man and drained him completely. The man fell back in shock but the queen wasn't satisfied.

Queenie glances at the clock on the wall, which reads a quarter past two. "It's two," Queenie says. "We close at six," the woman repeats, unbothered, "for people we like. For people we haven't decided about, we've been closed since this morning." She dots a line with a small flourish, and then, without the faintest change in tone, "Pumpkin, is the kettle on?" "On and warm for you, my heart," says the old man at the back, without breaking the rhythm of his pestle, and then, in the exact same gentle voice, to us: "Don't touch anything or I'll have to hurt you."

(Third Person – pov) Morning light spills gently into the eastern wing of the palace, soft and golden, touching everything it finds with warmth. Here, there is no sickness. No smoke. No fear. Only laughter. “Kiana, stand still!” The Queen’s voice carries across the chamber, firm but filled with affection. Kiana laughs, though she tries to obey, her hands lifting slightly as two attendants circle her, adjusting layers of fabric that seem to grow more complicated with each passing moment.

"We celebrate the return of our king and his mate our queen, by the power vested in me I hereby proclaim Axel Alamander our king and Lianna Redwoods our queen." The cheer continued with series of chants that shouted " long live the king." I felt so happy and so fulfilled. Even though she is not here with us, she continues to live in our hearts because we night creatures are destined to live forever.” Dad said as he addressed the crowd. The entire room was utterly quiet as only Dad's voice could be heard.
