Lana hurried to her twins' room, where two wooden cribs stood neatly side by side. "Are Mama's heroes awake?" Lana picked up her little boy, whom she had named Hyden. Then, she turned to look at her little girl, Hailey. Every time she looked at her two children's faces, Lana's heart ached. They were perfect copies of the man she hated and loved the most. Hyden had Lucas's strong jawline and cold gaze, while Hailey's lips were very similar to her father's when he smiled.

Then his eyes shifted to Fabian beside her, and he seemed to understand the situation immediately. It was only one indifferent look, but Xena’s face burned with humiliation.
