After a long search with no lunch, she saw two teenage wolves playing in the sand, wild and free.
“Excuse me,” she beckoned to them, lowering herself.
They stopped playing and gave her their uttermost attention. Nonetheless, she could smell fear and percussion from both as they linked their hands while gazing at her.
“I'm looking for Alpha Raven or Jack. Do you know where I can search for any of them?”
“You're not a wolf,” the little blonde who had her hair braided in two piggy tails blurted out.
Lana chuckled. “That, I know. But, I'm almost as powerful as a wolf,” she let them know. “I'm a fighter.”
