I haven’t opened the inside to see the contents. But it didn’t make sense that anyone would give their lover a history book. That just seems sadistic in my opinion.

Damon had actually created a separate shelf for my medical books so I never actually checked the entire book collection. I was awestruck when I saw great love stories in the shelf. Finding a book in his drawer having contents of all the people he had saved from dying and then finding that he is actually a romance loving person made me believe that I have actually never known him.

There's still long hours till morning. Checking the book in his hand, he discovered it to be a novel. 'The Red and the Black' by Stendhal. After checking the description of the book, he believed it wouldn't be bad to give it a try although he is not fond of reading novels. Leo prefer reading normal books, it doesn't matter which type it is as long as there are not romance books. Most of the romance books he read in the past are rather cliche, untrue and misleading because such love in books doesn't exist in this modern day society.
