"Sir. You may begin." The butler pulled the red silk off the wheel. The face of the wheel held thirty-six letters. Each letter went with a name. Jordan Sutton stepped toward it. I cut him off. "Wait!" All eyes turned. In that moment, I understood. I had been given a second chance. In my previous life, I had been chosen. And on my wedding day… I was reduced to something less than human. This time, I would not repeat the same fate.

Duke Rowan Castaña decided just to be his mistress's knight until he drew his last breaths. TEN LOCKS attached to the double doors of Prince Cory's prison cell. The warden of the capital's prison cell looked at her dubiously as Tori gripped the parasol's handle, her red eyes flaming with anger as the loyalist to the first prince refused to meet her eyes when she requested to see the second prince. "I won't ask again. Open this door." The threat laced upon in her voice made the royal knight react by stepping forward to her in an imposing manner that ticked Tori off.

he objected pre-emptively. “Oh, come on, Max,” Sir Luke pleaded while his friend laughed. “My queen is enchanting. That is all you will get.” The prince’s response got his friend exclaiming, “Ha! My queen will kill you,” the prince warned, making Sir Luke burst out into laughter, caught out.

this man must think I have time to play games. “What is the meaning of you kidnapping my mate and sending me pieces of her?” he raised an eyebrow and the look on his face told me that he did not know what I was talking about. “I am afraid I do not know what you are talking about. I have no reason to go after you Mr Lockwood, at least not yet. But if you want help finding her then I will be more than happy to help.” Shit! That means the prince has her. that fucking moron.
