Maya's POV I scented her before I saw her. “Did you and Kylan plan this? You both are making this night way too long for me.” I sighed and turned to face Lily who watching me like a hawk watching a stray chick. So damn theatrical. Both of them should work at the opera. The overwhelming smell of alcohol drew my attention away from Lily to the other female present and I frowned. “You!” I pointed, flabbergasted. Lily smirked. “Nice work, Sloane. For a moment I thought she wasn’t going to show but here she is.”

She would see the Lycan again. Her head was in a state of euphoria as she lay in bed, imagining herself unravelling the mystery of her saving stranger. The smiles, and her much sought opportunity to say thank you to him. Until she asked herself the damning question. Then what? She was fresh from a heartbreak, and the pain of being left alone on her wedding day. What would happen if she and the Lycan fell in love? Would she not be exposing herself to the pain twice? Why did she even want to see him?

"Why did you only come to me when I was down for the second time?" Sicily's soft voice imprisoned Edward Slovasky's soul, his lips parted in confusion. He silently gazes down at his woman, momentarily forgetting the arousing touch. "Forgive me for coming late. Truly the lupi scent you possess is so hard to reach. Forgive me!" Edward slowly brought his head closer until their foreheads were pressed against each other. This made Sicily unite her gaze full of longing and pain. "I want forever with you, My Lycan."

His pure blue eyes were beaming with passion as he examined carefully on my face. Instinctively, I thought he was about to kiss me, so I tried to move back, but he stopped me by placing both his hands on my hips. Then, he said in a deep, husky voice - "I'm a special type of werewolf, Louisa. I'm a Lycan."

Sylvia called out, to make her come running “Mummy loves you very much. It’s only temporary, sweetheart.” She planted kisses all over her but made sure only to touch her clothing. Serenity squealed out in glee but stopped when she looked behind Sylvia. I turned, to see Xaivier and Zahli standing there. Xaivier was in his demon form; Zahli sitting on his back proudly. Serenity rushed to Xaivier and grabbed at his long fangs. Xaivier was shocked by the contact, but soon placed his forehead down so she could rub his head.

[Stop before you kill each other here! [Isn’t that much more convenient?] I sneered and let out a short, evil laugh while my eyes were focused on Ray. [The one who lives can have Sylvie.] [Don’t be f*cking ridiculous, Lucas.] Sylvie retorted, which shook my confidence. [Even if I didn’t meet Ray, I would never love you. I would never go back to you or your pack!]

Luke smiled, “Of course. I most definitely will.” I say goodbye one last time and we get in his truck. Luke starts the truck and looks at me, “There is one thing I haven’t done yet that I really need to do.” Then he puts his hand on my cheek, “I Lucas Parker, accept you, Sylvie Shumani, as my mate and Princess.” I giggle and blush as I hear him, “That blush is going to be the death of me.” I smile, “Well, then, let me finish this. I, Sylvie Shumani, accept you, Lucas Parker, as your mate and my duties as princess.” I smile as he kisses me gently. He sighs, “Thank you, little mate.” He sighs as I kiss his cheek, “Thank you for accepting me.” He smiled, “I wouldn’t have had it any other way.”

However, she is aware that this is not her true feelings but rather the work of the mate bond. “Please do not speak like that!” she exclaims. “I am merely flirting with my mate,” he shrugs. “Is that wrong?” “Yes! We barely know each other!” “Okay,” Dmitri says, clearing his throat. “Let me introduce myself. I am Dmitri Daskov, Duke of Sloria. I am a Lycan by birth and my wolf’s name is Daskov as well. In my free time, I like to walk in my garden, read a good book and perhaps take a stroll down town to meet my people. My usual routine consists of stalking my enemies and manipulating them into killing each other-”

DARIAN'S POV I walked through the front door after a very busy day that had drained every ounce of patience I had left. The house was quiet, except for one sound, a quiet cry coming from the living room. Sylvie was curled on the couch. I crossed the room and crouched in front of her. "What happened?" She wiped her face, avoiding my eyes. "I feel like you married me to keep me in this house without doing anything else. I feel unloved."

He watches my moves with contentment. I covered my mouth with my hand, unable to cry. The shameful moans that I was producing were too embarrassing, but he ordered me not to, " I love hearing you moan my name," he said. He licked my face, and all I could do was cry out in satisfaction. We have been at it for hours, and our stamina as lycans was great, and the sex was ten times better than any. I felt a piercing in my neck, and I realized he marked me; he wanted the whole world to know I was his.
