Philip, a long-haul truck driver, was often away from home, leaving me feeling lonely and unfulfilled. It might sound improper, but I couldn't help it. There was a craving inside me that longed to be satisfied, and it had only intensified over time. The way men looked at me when I was out in public made me feel a mix of embarrassment and exhilaration, adding fuel to my restless thoughts. My daily life was simple. After my parents passed away, they left me a three-story house, and I earned enough from renting it out to live comfortably without needing a job. But with so much free time, my thoughts often wandered, and that longing became impossible to ignore.

“I don’t need to hear about your bondage plans.” Freddy’s grin widened into a genuine smile. “Fine. If you won’t tell me, I won’t pry,” he said at last. “That’s bullshit and we both know it,” Kim replied saucily. Freddy shrugged and went back to where he’d left the rag wadded up on the counter. I asked a little concerned. "I left Mr. Pickles all alone" she said with a lot of concern and worry. Mr. Pickles is her favourite toy. She carried him everywhere and held him tight during the night. He was a gift from my aunt Danny who she loved very much. Mr Pickles was a soft green plushie that resembled a pickle, hence the name. Flamingo received Mr Pickles a little over three years ago and has loved him ever since.

"I miss you" He could feel her pouting from the phone. He chuckled lightly.

Zen clenches his jaw while watching Isabelle exit the room; he grabs a pen and stabs the wooden top of the desk. He closes his eyes and breathes heavily trying to relax. “She doesn’t love you, she doesn’t want you. The moment she finds Daniel she will leave you and you will be alone, all alone once again. There’s no one for you, you are alone. ALONE!!” He yells and swipes his hand across the top of the table making all the files and his laptop fly off it.

We don't talk about deep things or anything like that, but we're laughing a lot. We're also occasionally touching. Like I brushed his hair out of his face and he'll touch my waist when I pretend I can't hear what he says and he leans in. All the while I know Lee is watching us. He's not even with Sandra anymore. He's glaring at us from across the room and I'm loving how jealous I'm making him. Serves him right.

The only sounds were the soft crackle of the candles and the distant hum of the city outside. Finally, I asked, almost shyly, “Do you… ever feel… lonely, sir?” Frederick’s hand froze mid-motion as he set down his fork. He didn’t answer immediately. When he finally spoke, his voice was almost a whisper, barely audible. “I do,” he admitted. “More than most would understand.” My heart tightened. I hadn’t expected him to say that. The cold, untouchable Frederick — admitting vulnerability. “I… I understand,” I said softly. “Loneliness… it’s… it’s heavy. Sometimes it’s easier to hide behind walls than let anyone see.”

All he asked was, "Jefferson, how is Freya right now?" Jefferson stared at him and said coldly, "She will be detained for the time being." "Freya wouldn't murder anyone! She definitely wouldn't!" When Freddy heard Jefferson's reply, his anxiety spiked once again. If it had been anyone else, he would have rushed towards them and beat them up. However, it was Jefferson who he was speaking to. Beating him up? What a joke. Freddy would be cowering and backing up against the wall. It had only been two days since Florence showed up, but Freddy had lost a lot of weight within that short period of time. The stubble on his face added years to his appearance, making him look pitiful.
