It's been a long time since I had felt this kind of freedom and it was intoxicating. Sometimes granny wouldn't let me sing anything that wasn't a catholic hymn. I joined in the chorus again, twirling in my seat. "Could you please refrain from your noise!" The sharp, annoying, and familiar voice of Xavier cut through my excitement. I rolled my eyes, "It's called singing." He chortled, "Honey if that's how all singers sound then I don't mind listening to an old lady squeaking."

🎶 I continue singing until I hear soft snores, then I know he's fallen asleep. I stop singing, I lean forward and kisses his forehead. Suddenly I hear someone clapping behind me, I turn to Fred with a harsh glare and shush him. "Keep it down!" I whisper yell at him. "Oh!" He whispers. I walk towards him and drag him outside with me. I close the door behind and head to Fred's room. "I didn't know you have such a beautiful voice!!" Fred said. It sounds like he's complimenting me. Ok, I should ask him if he's really complimenting me, just to be sure..

Spring asks, tossing her jacket to the floor as she sits down on the mattress. Without warning, Freddie grabs her by the hair, yanking her head back roughly. “Shut the fuck up, bitch!” he snarls. “Why are you always nagging me about money? Once my streaming career takes off, you’ll be swimming in drugs. So quit whining!” He slaps her across the face, hard, before lighting a cigarette and shoving the white substance in his mouth from the shopping bags she brought and turning his attention to a video game.
