The Long-lasting Tree

The Long-lasting Tree

"Is your son at home? We are suspecting he escaped with... ." "With your property?" he frained quickly putting down the calabash, and chunks of food dripping from the corners of his mouth. "He isn't a thief, woman. I know him. I know him." "No. Not that. Our boy is lost and the two have been friends for a long time." At the mention of the word 'lost', two large balls of tears that seemed to have been hanging close fell from her eyes. Omolo was bemused to see a woman good in age having tears close to her cheeks.

A book to pick from the shelf. Felt i was reliving times here, those wonderful moments in the history of a people. The Blue-eyed's intention with the bell and the tree's inexplicable powers are itchy... felt like I just wanted to know it all. This is a five-star novel, can't hesitate to say. ???

I'm greatly enjoying this book. I fell in love with Okayo, such a stupid thing though😅, but i love his courage and attentiveness to issues. Won't relent until i finish the book. This is truly African. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Her Long Lost CEO

Her Long Lost CEO

I forgot one thing my best friend might be a little scatter brained at times but she's definitely not stupid. "Now where were we? Oh that's right you were trying to distract me from the fact that you went out of your way to trap Mr Carter....wait what am I even saying? THE ETHAN FREAKING CARTER!!! The business mogul! The Forbes article God! The Vogue list certified sex on legs!!! "Well I wouldn't exactly say trapped..." I mutter under my breath in my defense. "So what would you have me call it then,an incident? a divine encounter? a rendezvous? A liason? A FREAKING ENTANGLEMENT?!!!"

Forbidden Friendship

Forbidden Friendship

I stood at the back of the hall, caught in the delicate balance between presence and absence, a living statue carved from the weariness of the weeks past. On my right, Jake's familiar warmth provided a comforting anchor. On my left, Rykor's quiet presence was a testament to solidarity. Yet, it was the empty space where Lily should be that tugged at the edges of my consciousness—a reminder of friendship's fragile, irreplaceable bonds left unfulfilled.

My Best Friend’s Brother

My Best Friend’s Brother

Stopping meant that my mind would have to work and that would mean thinking about Isabella and my family that I had left back in Fort Haven, Los Angeles. “You’ve been more of a distraction for the past fifteen minutes. You’re the one who’s going to get me killed, because with your yapping, I might drop the barbell on myself.” I said breathlessly. “That means I’ll be doing you a favor and helping you get there faster.” Phil said with a shrug. Phil is my closest friend and teammate here and he’s the only one who knows that I haven’t left the private gym room since my arrival. He’s the only one who knows that I’m having a hard time even though he doesn’t know what exactly is wrong.

Omg, thanks so much for all these updates!! They are coming in quickly and I get to read more than 1 a day. So looking forward for more… I love Brads and Bella’s story. Yea Olivia needs to get it together, she has been so selfish as Brad puts it.

Honey, I love Bella and Brad. But the ending is too rushed. We need more. Like them in the future and an epilogue. I also would like to see more of Olivia as well. She was a brat. But I'm glad she changed. Plus, the crimes Hillary and Dave committed are severe. They must be punished.

Claiming My Father’s Best Friend

Claiming My Father’s Best Friend

JORDAN I scowl at my phone as I dial the number on the screen for the umpteenth time since I got back to the State. I know it’s futile but a part of me is hoping for a miracle. I miss my best friend and I’d do anything to see him again. I’ve contacted a private Investigator and he’s combing the whole city for Peter Volkov. Has he relocated to another city? He’s never for once mentioned leaving New York. Business expansions and vacations, yes, but packing up to another country has never been in his books.

Aria's Choice

Aria's Choice

That is until the shooting. I still think back on some of my younger days when I had a normal childhood. Knox and I were glued at the hip. I know he had it a little rougher with his home life, but I tried to make up for it by always being there for him. I always thought that we would be friends forever. I still remember the words he whispered to me all those years ago. I look down at the twine that I still wear around my right ring finger. It is not the same exact one, I outgrew that one, but I made myself a new one, keeping the original in an old jewelry box at home. I am not sure why I continue wearing it, when I haven’t seen him in about eight years. Maybe it is just to remind me that the

Great book with great characters. Lots of twists. Definitely another great book from Stacy Rush! Loved this one almost as much as her book My Bully’s Love. Sad to see this one end but it was well worth the wait and heartache in some scenes. Cannot wait for the next book from Stacy!
Tammy
Best book ever! A roller coaster of emotions throughout, suspense and drama to keep you interested. Such a talented writer that no doubt has a great future. I can not wait to see what the future holds in the books written by this author.

False Best Friends

False Best Friends

"Oh.... you of course didn't know. She and Colton Adams shared a longgggggg kiss yesterday, the same day King was missing. What does that say?" She blinked. It couldn't be. Joan loved King, a lot. It was obvious, right? Luca let out an evil chuckle, "I'm sure King Johannson would love to hear how his beloved best friend kissed his arch enemy on the day he got lost. Love oh love." Isla snorted. She was sure Luca didn't tell her the exact story. Perhaps, Joan did kiss Colton Adams but was that all there was to the story?

The Fake Empire

The Fake Empire

I longed for something I’ll probably never get in this life or the next. I opened our messages again. Typed something, deleted it. Then typed again. I was obsessed. I knew that, but I couldn’t stop myself. I longed for her, for a part of my childhood I always found so much joy in. That what T was for me. She was my one real friend growing up. I learnt very early on who real friends were and who just wanted to get close to me because of my family name. Craig: Hey, T. Hope you got some rest last night. Just wanted to check in. Didn’t mean to bug you.

My Childhood Friend Regrets Not Wanting Me

My Childhood Friend Regrets Not Wanting Me

“What?” Justin smiled. He wanted to laugh, but looked down in embarrassment. “When did you… start liking me?” I looked at him intensely. “In a different timeline…” Justin was stunned. From his expression, I could tell that he never thought I would turn out to be kind. He forced out a dry laugh. “Ha… ha… ha, Your Highness, you jest…” I sighed helplessly. He must have thought I was just stringing him along with sweet talk. It did not matter. Given enough time, I would find a way to lay it all out and tell him that I fell for him a very, very long time ago. Though, sadly, the affection back then had come a little too late.

The Abandoned Long-lost Son

The Abandoned Long-lost Son

Then he set about making arrangements, full steam ahead. The assistant, following orders, tried calling me for three days. All she got was a busy signal. Even checking my travel records turned up nothing but my last connecting flight. It was as if I'd vanished completely. Every trace of my life had stopped the day I walked out the door. The assistant's starched collar was soaked through with sweat when she finally choked out the words to my father: "Mr. Wheeler… I think Jason is… missing. We haven't been able to reach him at all."
