Married to my father’s boss

Married to my father’s boss

Yet, as my eyes remain shut, my mind wanders to a distant memory, a fleeting glimpse of a love that could never be. My heart aches with a longing that refuses to subside, a bittersweet yearning for someone who is forever out of reach.i recalls the heavy breaths, the whispers, and the tender touches that now taunt me with their absence. The memories swirl like a maelstrom, a vortex of emotions that threaten to consume my whole.

Love, As Fleeting as the Breeze

Love, As Fleeting as the Breeze

Christina's feet felt nailed to the ground. The voices inside continued without pause. "Is Lucien and Vanessa still not done? It's been, what, five hours already?" "Why rush? Lucien's a beast, and Vanessa's irresistible. They won't stop until they're completely spent." "But doing it right next door? That's a bit much. I even heard moaning earlier. Good thing I turned up the music just in time, or his wife might've caught on. You have no idea how tense I was."

Yearning for Her Return

Yearning for Her Return

So, the quote stayed in her mind. The gorgeous scenery ahead made her think of the lucky quote just then. She told herself she wouldn't have enjoyed this view if David hadn't kidnapped and brought her here. The mist covered a vast plot of this land with mountains and a lake. It was worth the demanding journey here. Blinking in shock, she continued to stare at the view. Then, she recited a famous Emily Dickinson poem. Her soothing voice harmonized with the chirping birds. "The mountain sat upon the plain. In his eternal chair, his observation manifold, His inquest everywhere. The seasons prayed around his knees, like children round a sire: Grandfather of the days is he, of dawn the ancestor."

Ellen Addawe
I like the depth of this book, the character of the FL wherein she learns a lot in her life experiences, her moving on from the past and enjoying her life in the present. Not the typical love story wherein after all the heartaches, betrayal & rejection, still the FL gives the ML a second chance.

I stopped reading this book the moment Rebecca got married to someone else and Daniel is dying of late stage cancer, after all he suffered in the hands of his evil brother and family, I expected a happy ending for him and Rebecca but the writer chose other wise. He doesn't deserve this tragic ending

Average Jane |Lesbian Story|

Average Jane |Lesbian Story|

Mary whispered wickedly to her. This time Jane held the phone firmly so that Mary couldn't snatch it back. 'To Jane I will love thee in the winter, When the ice and snow lie deep. I will love thee in the spring, When the budding willows weep. I will love thee in the summer, When the sun burns hot and bold. I will love thee in the fall, When the aspen leaves turn gold. I will love thee all year long. Love eternal is my song.' One season of love from Lucy was terrible enough. Her eternal love was something no one could be expected to bear. Lucy needed to stop writing all these crazy love poems!

As the moon began to rust

As the moon began to rust

Of each other and of oneself: of all the things they might have to do, may want to do, are doing to one another. It's a year of longing. Every inch of the body yearns for something more. The limbs are caught in restless tremble, and soft sighs linger on desperate lovers’ lips. Like on Helen’s. In her life, she has loved many things, mostly trivia. Black coffee in the morning, smiling strangers in the park, and the sense of freedom that crashing waves on stormy shores would wash into your heart.

SHADOWED SALVATION

SHADOWED SALVATION

**🥀** 🥀 OTHELLO'S POV 🥀 I feel very distant from the person I love, and I feel like it's my only problem. Bruno, does he love me, or does he not? Is the problems in our world too much for us to be focused on love? I wanted more, more than a day of love; I want forever and I think only I feel that way. My heart feels heavy, weighed down by the ache of longing. I've tried to shake off the feeling, to distract myself with other things but it's always there, lingering in the shadows. Whenever I see Bruno, my soul stirs. I imagine what it would be like to be with him, to feel his arms around me, to hear his voice whispering sweet things in my ear. But every time I try to get closer, I'm met wi

Forced to Marry My Stepbrother

Forced to Marry My Stepbrother

My dearest Hyacinth, In the garden of my thoughts, where shadows bloom and whispers linger, I find myself ensnared by the thorny vines of despair. Hyacinth, my dearest, if only your heart could perceive the anguish that courses through mine as I witness his embrace around you. It is a sight that rends my soul, a cruel symphony of longing and torment.

Longing For My Ex-Wife

Longing For My Ex-Wife

Lena couldn’t sleep. She sat on the edge of her bed, staring out the window. The night was quiet, but her mind was loud with anger. Every time she closed her eyes, she saw Daniel’s face—his voice snapping, “Maya won’t do that!” like some kind of defense. Even after days had passed, the tension between them refused to ease. The silence in the house was heavy, filled with unspoken resentment. Lena couldn’t understand why Daniel’s heart still leaned toward someone who had already walked away. No matter what she did, Maya’s presence still lingered—quiet but powerful. It was like living in someone else’s shadow, and it gnawed at her more than she could admit.

My Pretty Husband

My Pretty Husband

Out of nowhere, like he did last time? I let out a soft laugh. God, I can’t wait to see him. Maybe I’m losing my mind. This feeling — it’s driving me insane. This longing burns straight through my chest, makes it hard to breathe. Like I’m suffocating under the weight of someone’s shadow. Someone I desperately want to hold… but who still stands far, far away. Yongju… I’m coming home. -o0o-

Caged In his Paradise

Caged In his Paradise

In the stillness of night, she waits, Her heart heavy with longing and ache, Her love lies in slumber, in death's embrace, But hope flickers, refusing to break. With each passing hour, she holds his hand, Whispering words of love, soft and grand, Her tears fall like petals, delicate and true, As she prays for his awakening, for love renewed . In this realm of love, she patiently resides, With unwavering faith, her heart abides,
