Alpha Dean’s chair scraped faintly as he rose to his feet, his face etched with disbelief. Loretta’s cup nearly slipped from her hand. She stood, crossing the space between them in hurried, ungraceful steps — so unlike her usual composed self. Her fingers trembled as she reached out, almost afraid to touch. “By the Goddess…” she whispered, tears pooling in her eyes. Her voice cracked as her fingertips brushed the mark. “This… this is the crescent of destiny.” The mark pulsed under Loretta’s touch, faintly glowing, sending a ripple of energy through the room. Even those who did not understand the weight of it felt its power.

Of course, she is greedy, she just wants me to think she is not…how clever. "Luna! You as my Luna, that's a joke," I say and I saw her look shocked. "Why should I accept someone that I am about to reject as my Luna? You are not fit to be my Luna," I say and Callisto purred in rage but I was strong enough to control him. "I, Alpha Raven Rock, reject you, Giselle Lynette!" I said and Callisto growled in anger but I didn't care a bit. I have to do what I have to do but the reaction of the girl in front of me was different…she was indifferent.

She was sure he tried to see if Caleb was still keeping her well satisfied. She snarled at Ragnar. Please, share with me what transpired," Lady Loretta said in her soothing voice, her words carrying the weight of experience. I took a deep breath, grateful for her presence and wisdom. "Lady Loretta, I felt myself being drawn into a realm of shadows and whispers. There were faint voices, and distant echoes, guiding me toward something significant. But before I could grasp it, it all vanished, leaving me with a lingering sense of unease."
