The Lycan's slave Mate
Author: Whitelord

A GOOD DAY TO BE SOLD.

"You are going to be fine! You are going to be fine!" I chanted for the umpteenth time as I walked close to my parent's room and every time I got closer to their room I felt my breathing constricted so I decided to take a deep breath.

But why am I doing this? Why am I so scared to talk to my parents?

Maybe my situation would have been different if a weak girl like me hadn't been born to my parents…Lycans.

My parents are one of the most powerful Lycan rulers of their time and they are still very well in their prime with their powers still not derailing.

"But why am I like this!" I mumbled as a sigh escaped my mouth.

How can a weak human like me be born to the household of Lycan? How can someone like me be…' I was pondering but I felt a strong force before I could avoid it I felt my body sent flying to the floor.

"Ahhh!" I yelled, and I looked at what went wrong and why I was sent flying to the ground only to be met with the arrogant face of my little sister, Azrael.

Azrael is my little sister but she was more the pride of my parents. You can say she is the one that the moon goddess used to compensate them for having a weak daughter like me.

Azrael is really powerful and she must have deliberately pushed me down…this is not the first time things like this are going to happen.

"What are you doing on the floor, big sister? Don't tell me you don't even have the energy to walk now!" I heard Azrael's voice and my teeth gritted against each other in anger as I dusted myself up from the ground.

"How dare you ask me that question? Did you have a proof?" She asked with an arrogant look and I bit my lips down knowing that she was right.

No matter how Azrael bullied me in the past I was never able to get my parents to punish her because she always asked me to present her with proof and since she was my parent's favorite they always believed her.

Even now I know I wasn't going to win her so I was not going to argue with her.

"I will be going now, mother asked for me," I say, turning around and I heard her mocked me for being weak but I didn't turn around to give her the piece of mind.

I walked down the hallway and my steps halted when I reached the front of my parent's room and I knocked gently.

"Luna mother, I am here," I say softly waiting for an order for me to come and I heard her hum asking me to come in

I opened the door gently to face an elegant woman who looked like someone of my age with an air of elegance oozing around her.

"What are you doing not entering? Don't tell me you also do not have the energy to walk!" I heard my mom's angry voice and I bolted into the room knowing me lingering outside might warrant wrath from her.

She was even nice today to not have thrown anything at me…she must be in a good mood, I mulled as I watched her whistling around in the room.

"Have you eaten?" I heard my mother ask and my heart skipped a bit hearing that.

I was so shocked by her question that it rendered me speechless for some time because that was the first time my mother had asked me that question.

She only asked me if I was done with the house chores and other activities but never asked her if she had eaten but she knew that her being alive till that day was all thanks to her.

"Why are you not answering me? Is my question that hard to understand?" She asked again and my father also walked out of the restroom.

"No…I am sorry.. I have eaten," I stuttered and I heard my father hiss in anger.

"You and that stuttered! I am sick and tired of it!" He bellowed and I jolted in fear.

"That's nice, I would not want to be held responsible for you not eating well," she says, and I wondered what she was saying but I knew better than to ask.

The last time I asked my mother a question…I was rendered mute for days due to intense torture.

"Go and pack your things," I heard my mother say, and I wondered what was going on.

I knew that it was going to be a matter of time before I was going to be sold just like Giselle used to tease but I never knew that it was going to be that fast.

'Are they finally tired of me and decided to get rid of me?' I mulled in my head but I kept quiet and I walked towards my mother.

"What are you saying, mother? Why should I pack my things?" I asked with my voice shaking and she scoffed at my words.

Finally! I asked a question, is she going to kill me this time?

"Don't you think that you have overstayed your welcome? Why should I let a weak human like you eat my food when I have beggars on the street to feed!" She blurted and my hands balled into a fist hearing her cruel words burned my heart.

She preferred to feed a begged than her child? Her biological child?

My eyes glistened with tears hearing her words but I bit down my lips not trying to let the tears roll down my cheeks…I don't want to be tamed as a weak girl.

I have had enough of that already.

'Why are you this hurt, Giselle? I am sure you should have gotten used to it!' I scolded myself.

"Go and pack your bags! The people he sent for you would soon be here," she commanded and the realization finally hits me.

"What? You sold me off!" I yelled and my brain froze immediately.

I got sold by my mother.
