When one of the wings is ripped from the left side of the plane and a giant whole is sitting where the other people should have been. My last thought should have been what my mother or father or brother would feel if I died, if I didn’t make it home. It should have been about my place at Princeton University and how I wouldn’t get to live out my dream. But as the plane started to reach the ocean below, my only thought was Jace, and how much I wish I could have told him I loved him one more time before everything went black.

She hated what she’d become, but if she was not who she was today, then what direction was she supposed to be leaning? Z fell asleep with her eyes puffed and swollen with tears. Marjorie sighed as she went back inside. She knew not of what’s bothering her, but it seemed to be something much serious for her to break down like that. She’d seen a lot of lost wielders, lost shadows crying in despair, begging for something to latch unto because they knew that the place where they’d be falling was their worst nightmare.

She opened it slowly, revealing a Rolex watch, sleek, expensive, flawless. It was the birthday gift she had prepared for him. Now, it felt laughable. Without hesitation, Ava walked to the trash can. Splat. The watch worth over a million disappeared among discarded paper and plastic. She exhaled slowly. Three years of love. Three years of sacrifice. All wasted. From now on, she told herself, I’ll live only for myself. Ava walked out of the villa, hailed a taxi, and gave the driver an address. Her own villa.

Then he died. She was framed for his death. Lily was broken and traumatized, and her mother was still unwell, so she was very worried about her. Thalia listened, offering a supportive ear and sharing stories of her own to lighten the somber mood. Despite their grim circumstances, a fragile friendship blossomed between the two.

At the thought of Cherry, she remembered why she had gone to the Lost shroud in the first place, it was to find her best friend who had just suddenly disappeared off the face of the earth, right when she visited the lost shroud. “Could she also be stuck here?” Vanilla muttered, sitting on the floor and hugging her knees. Thinking about the past made her somewhat sad. Hearing Darkness say it felt like she was being stabbed on an open wound. “I really don't have anything to go to. Is that true?” She wondered. Heart filled with heaviness. She laid her head on the foot of the bed. “If I had a mother, father or even a boyfriend and a few good friends, would I have something to go back to?”

Jay continues. "But I sabotaged his plans. I took you and Marcus but somehow he discovered my plan. He had his men chase after us. Fortunately, that night, I met Henry. I begged him to take you. I promised him I would come back and look for him but unfortunately, my car fell on a cliff. I survived but I went into a coma for 10 years. I was so lucky that I lived, I was given a chance to correct my mistakes and ask for forgiveness. But unfortunately, I lost my ability to walk again." He smiles faintly. “It’s not only you who sabotaged his plan, I did too.” Dianne voiced as she held Jay’s hand.

She looks confused. "I guess I must have missed it. They're not easy to find without knowing what to look for." She drops down next to Leo. "We'll get the serial number and find out who it belongs to." She shrugs. "That'll have to wait till morning, we can do this all later." She said before latching the gate before she and Leo disappeared back into the house. 'Goodnight Hetty, see you tomorrow.' I mock them to myself. Oh well. Not much I can do about it for now. I climb back in the cot and close my eyes, ready to see what the morning brings.

POV. Alexander I run out of the cafeteria doors after my mate. But once I reached the woods I couldn't smell her any longer, it's like she just disappeared into thin air. "I need more wolf's in the woods right fucking now. My mate is missing and I want her back NOW!!" I mind link to my entire pack with my Alpha command. It felt like we were out in the woods all day but it had only been hours. When I had almost given up hope I saw her at the edge of the woods by a big tree talking to none other than, Jaxson Shadow the Alpha of The Shadow pack.

This time he used the other name he knew who had a bad temper. “--lost.” He heard her speak and he didn’t hear any other sound after that. He went to the couch and looked at the door, waiting for them to come out. Inside the room, Kyla was sitting on the floor, she saw blood on her feet and it reminded her of awful things she had run away when they were little. “I’m lost.” she quietly said before she was pulled back to blackness.
