When Hate Falls in Love
"If it's a girl, I want her to be like you, sweet, stubborn, and always laughing. If it's a boy, I want him to be like me, loyal, patient, and with a terrible sense of humor."
Aurora burst into laughter. "How arrogant!"
"But you still love me, right?" Rafael teased.
Aurora turned her head, her eyes sparkling. "More than you can imagine."
Without hesitation, Rafael took Aurora's face in his hands and kissed her lips again. This time, the kiss was warmer, deeper, and full of meaning. As if they were filling each other's hidden wounds. There was no office, no past, no names like Valery or Edgar. There was only the two of them, loving each other, healing each other.
