He said, his nostrils flared and his eyes were furious. For the first time I was realizing that there were so many wrong things about him and his feelings toward me was not something that existed at all. I asked a question, why did it rile him up so much? On one end there was pity and the thought that he had grown in conditions where he needed to prove himself to be loved, but on the second hand I was so livid. The more interactions I had with him the more certain I was that this person fit very closely to the description of the devil. And can one really love the devil? I was doomed.

It was just a way for him to have control and power over me. But I’m the one with the power here. To get my revenge, I would do anything, I would give anything, and right now, I was selling my soul to the devil. But in this story, there are two devils. One doesn’t just know it yet.

Do you have any idea how much business alliances and trusted allies you al have cost me?" The room was paralyzed by his wrath, and none of us dared to meet his eyes. The tension was suffocating, and the fear that had gripped us was almost tangible. The man that stod before me looked nothing like the man I desperately used to crave. This one felt like the real devil, the same one the FBI painted a picture of to me. He didn’t even spare me a glance but i could rarely get the words out of my mouth.

“You know I could make all this go away. I can make the charges disappear, but I’m going to need something from you first.” I knew what it was before he even said it. “Sign the papers,” he leaned down to tuck a strand of hair from my face while maintaining eye contact with me. “And then disappear from my life, forever.” He said it with so much certainty that I felt like he had driven a stake clean through my heart, impaling me with his words. I blinked rapidly, trying to make sense of it all before it finally settled in my head. Curtis Blackwood was the fucking devil.

Zarif added. “These are all a bunch of useless excuses,” The Devil said angrily, causing the pit of hell to tremble due to his rage, “The rules say we cannot harm Garin or his angel but it doesn’t say that we can’t hurt the people they care about. Kill someone they love, cause them pain and make them suffer so the chain breaks.” The devil said. “It doesn’t matter how many of their friends and family we hurt or kill, Father. It will only bring them closer because they’ll seek comfort in each other’s arms.” Gentel said.

I inhaled sharply and ran my fingers in the hair out of frustration. "What's the deal?" Right now, I want her underneath me, withering and moaning with pleasure while I ruin her hole for good. "Another contract with you." She did not hesitate to say that and I expected that. Delilah Richards is no less than a prostitute.
