Luna Gibson Novel Novels & Stories

"Seneca's mate, Alpha Dennison, really mistreated her. I guess she can now finally be the Luna she could never be before his death. It's sad really, and I want to get to know her and help her, but she keeps shutting me out." "Well, it's understandable in a way. You're young, and she probably sees you for the crazy pup you are." I punch Luci in the arm and she yelps, crawling to hide behind Gabby. I think she is enjoying the fact we are on a massive king bed, otherwise I'd have pushed her off easily by now. "You're still drawing, I see," Gabby changes the subject by picking up my art book. She flips through despite my half-hearted attempt to grab it from her. I don't mind if they see my pictu

With trembling hands, the old woman fastened the silver chain around twelve-year-old Luna's neck. *"This is yours, my little star," her grandmother had whispered, pressing her dry, warm lips against Luna's forehead. "Keep it hidden. Don't ever let them see it. Don't ever let them take what belongs to you."* *Luna nodded and hugged her tightly.* *But when she walked out of the bedroom into the hallway, twelve-year-old Aurora was standing in the shadows.* *Her twin—no, the girl she had always thought was her twin—stepped out, her arms crossed, her eyes burning with a dark, bitter coldness.*

Luna's fists were closed on the blanket, knuckles pressing into the fabric, and she was looking at the window and not at Kate and the thing inside her that had been growing since the morning with the tea and the toast, since the toilet block, since the sealed bag with her mother's ring, since the fire and the locked door, had gone very still and very solid. She did not answer. She did not need to.

The stone farmhouse was completely silent. Killian leaned his broad shoulder against the heavy oak doorframe of the library. He crossed his arms over his chest, his pale gray eyes entirely locked on the small figure standing in the center of the massive room. Luna was completely mesmerized. Her delicate fingers reached out, gently tracing the spines of the leather-bound books. For the very first time since he had brought her into his violent world, the heavy, suffocating blanket of absolute terror had vanished from her posture.

I finally open my eyes, and I find Gabriel smiling at me. “Luna, you're awake, how do you feel? Do you want some food,” he continued, and teased me about my love for pizza and mushroom sauce. He offers to get me Chinese rice, which I've never had before. I pout, but he promises I'll love it.

Her words are growing desperate. "I don't have time for this." Reaching behind me, I grab Raya's arm and tug her along toward the door. If Linda isn't going to move herself, then we'll do it for her. "No!" She blocks the doorway with her body. "You're not leaving with her. I'm your Luna." What the hell is happening? I've never seen her acting so unhinged before. Ever since she yelled at me to let my feelings for Gabriela go, she's been avoiding me, thankfully. And now of all times to try to come around to demand my attention again?

I whispered, rolling my eyes. “Well then,” she said, rolling her shoulders slightly. “Let’s see if this stubborn Luna of yours is ready to wake up.” I didn’t correct her. But something about the word Luna sat strangely in my chest. Because the truth was… I just wanted my omega back. The one who argued. Grunted. Corrected me every time I called her that. I missed that... just that Though I would never admit it out loud.

"It does not care how much good you build elsewhere. It still asks to be witnessed eventually." I nodded, throat too tight for words for a long moment, staring at the ash beneath my knees, trying to reconcile the small girl who had hidden behind that broken wall with the woman kneeling here now, Sovereign Luna, wife, ruler of a united kingdom, still somehow just as frightened in this exact spot as she had been that night. "I used to think if I ever came back here, I would fall apart entirely," I said. "That the grief would be too big to survive twice."

Please remember that the events and relationships in this book are entirely fictional and are written for storytelling purposes. Most importantly, this is Luna's story, a girl who has spent her entire life in a cage, searching for a life that truly belongs to her. I hope you'll laugh with her, cry with her, get frustrated with her, and fall in love with her journey. Happy reading! — C

Luna sat on Arka's porch, gazing into the distance, completely taken aback by the turn of events. She truly didn't expect to experience something like this. She felt like a person who had entered a novel, transitioning from a Romantic novel to a Thriller. Her future was now being gambled on the author who was writing this story. She snorted, imagining the absurd thoughts she was having. But if it were true, Luna wouldn't hesitate to take down the author who wrote this story filled with twists. How could they drag her into a murder narrative like this?
