Amidst the turmoil, Harry’s voice thundered, silencing Chris’s futile resistance. “Stop struggling, you jackass. We’ve already won!”

Across from him, his mate, Calista, perched on the edge of a chair, her brown eyes lighting up when she saw me. "Luke!" she exclaimed, rising to her feet. Jaxon looked up and smiled broadly. "About time you got back, man." I crossed the room in a few strides and embraced Jaxon in a quick, firm hug before Calista pulled me into one of her own, squeezing the air out of me. "You've been gone too long," she scolded, though her voice was warm. “Ah, ah Luna, it's only for 2 days,” I said and we laughed.

"I'm just Selena now. And you also know that our mate bond has been severed. From now on, we're simply two strangers who have nothing to do with each other. Alright. We’re closing now. I hope you won't stop me from closing." I turned around after saying that, but Alex refused to give up as he followed behind me, his tone becoming even hoarser. "I was wrong, Sophia. I was so, so wrong. I was the one at fault regarding everything that had happened with Lily. She was the one who posted the message about the new Luna. I never planned to do that at all!"

Rachel's POV Clayton rushes to the window and peeks out again. "Fuck!" He hisses under his breath. He walks away and runs both hands through his blonde hair. I step to the window and look around. I see a girl crying and stumbling across my yard. She is heading towards the pack house! She has long black hair that is braided back. I can make out leaves and tiny little twigs clinging to the braid as she gets closer. Something wet is matted to the side of her face. I squint to get a better look at her. Something seems so familiar about her, but it's too hard to make out who she is. One of her eyes is swollen shut. Her cheeks are red and damp from tears and sweat. Blood is dripping down her nose

The room erupts with howls and cheers. Liam leans down and kisses me softly, making my knees buckle. He nuzzles my cheek with his nose and whispers, “you’re so beautiful my Luna”. I look to Lee to untie the handfast but he just winks and jokes “you might want it for the honeymoon”. Of course I blush ten shades of red and Liam just laughs hysterically but eventually they untie it.

His father tried to reason. As they spoke, his mother walked into his office. His mother, the luna of the pack, Caua Wolf was a woman in her early fourties. She was only a little over five foot which made her very short compared to her husband and son. She had long brown hair and brown eyes that shone whenever she spoke. She also had very soft features. She was a caring mother and a kind luna. All the people of the pack love her for her good heart, and Rodriguez loved his mom more than anyone else.

People who were her family and friends were all around her. Someone called her as she was walking toward Ruben. "Madam Luna!" Lisa shifted her gaze to a young pair. A tall, bespectacled man, accompanied by a young brunette, was staring at her. Both appeared to be in their twenties, but it's difficult to tell with wolves. They could be 200 years old, but appear to be 20. "My name is Harry, and this is Clara, my mate. We were mated on the same day as you after she was turned." He grinned.

ZARA “What’s happening?” I asked, standing beside Xavier, wrapping my hand around his arm and resting my head on his shoulder. “Good morning, Alpha Peter.” “Good morning, Luna...” he paused. “Sorry, Alpha. Alpha Zara.” “Luna is also okay.” I rubbed Xavier’s arm gently. “I am still his Luna.” Xavier looked at me, and I could see the shock in his eyes. He wasn’t expecting me to claim him like that. The contract was still on, and it was okay to keep acting. At least, that was what I told myself.
