Intentionally or unintentionally, we both ignored the tiny sparks skirting through our limbs from the physical contact. The Lycan smirked in response. Before I could react, he pulled me forward and viciously smacked his forehead against mine. My head swam, as pain blinded my vision. I didn’t bother to wait until I regained my bearings or adapted to the burning pain.
