Mackenzie Ziegler From Dance Moms Novels & Stories

Four years passed. ~"You might have a mom, she might be the bomb But ain't nobody got a mom like mine Her love's 'til the end, she's my best friend Ain't nobody got a mom like mine" ~ Dancing to the tune of "Mom" by Meghan Trainor, the children danced in simple steps to appreciate their mommies on Mother's Day. This was a gathering that Amara had organized for the mothers in their family and close friends.

Just then, Ella gently tapped her leg, “Mommy, your leg is fine now, right? You will no longer need a wheelchair, right? Zara smiled broadly as she squatted to her height, “Yes, sweetheart. I’m perfectly fine now, so you don't have to worry your pretty head about it. And like I said, it wasn't your fault, okay?” Ella nodded gently, smiling. “Does that mean you can dance now?” Zara rolled her eyes, “Wait, you me to start dancing?” “Yes, mommy. It's been so long you danced.” Ezra chimed in. “You look so beautiful when you dance,” Ella complimented.

She said, "But mom, I love dancing, why can't you support me for once?" Macey asked, in a sad tune like she was going to start crying any moment. "Looks Macey, I can't have a prostitute for a daughter, so is either you quit that job, and go on a date with this guy, or you just totally forget about me." She said, with finality.

She questioned me with a smile and I shook my head "that day we saw you dancing on the school rooftop. You look so sexy and hot; I almost didn't believe it was you. I mean who would have thought that the quiet Celine Grayson knew how to dance like some damn goddess?" I blush shyly. I can still remember Angela and Selena's shocked expression when they saw me dancing on the school rooftop. It was kind of fun. My mum taught me how to dance when I saw her dancing once and asked her to teach me. She was once a stripper before my dad met her. Her occupation is the reason why my grandmother dislikes her, and she didn't accept mum as her daughter-in-law even after she quit the job to be with my dad.

I froze as I stepped into the kitchen, Mackenzie was seated on the counter watching Mark cook something. “That's for me right?” Mackenzie asked, she looked up at Mark and her eyes sparkled. “Of course it is,” Mark nodded, “When was the last time you ate an omelet?” Mackenzie thought for a moment, “Last week, but…” Mackenzie’s expression dimmed, “I've never had anyone make it for me apart from my mom.” My breath caught as I stared at the two of them, Mackenzie's eyes were practically glowing as she stared at Mark. She caught sight of me, “Mom,” she exclaimed, betraying my presence. “Uncle Mark is cooking for me,” she said.

Carmelia, Magnolia and even Rolandro cheered for her. "I can't believe you have such strength and skill in dancing. You amazed us back there. Who was your teacher? Can you teach me?" said Maggie. "Er..." Could she tell them that Thora was the dance master and she herself was worse than a zombie in regard to dancing? She just smiled and said: "When I have time."
